We are proud to be partnering with one of the UK’s longest-established private mechanical, electrical and instrumentation companies as they embark on a major project at the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station near Bridgwater, Somerset.
With decades of experience delivering complex work in highly regulated industries — including nuclear, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, utilities, and oil & gas — our client has recently secured a key contract on the Turbine Hall at Hinkley Point C.

Job Details
What Our Client Offers:
- The project will run for a minimum of 2 years with a potential of this extending to 4 years li>The hours of work will be 10 hours per day operating on a shift pattern of 10-4
- This shift pattern will start on the Tuesday of the first week and finish on the Thursday of the second week
- 2025 lodging allowance is paid at £50.81 per day li>Employees receiving accommodation allowance will be granted twelve weekend home visits each year.
- Training and upskilling opportunities
Requirements:
- ACE Card (or equivalent acceptable evidence of competence JIB/ECS Card
- Experience on large industrial/construction sites
- Safety-first mindset
- Nuclear clearance or willingness to undergo the necessary vetting approx. 8 weeks turnaround
- Previous experience on nuclear or power generation sites a plus

CNC Recruitment are currently seeking Paint Line Operatives to join our client in Bridport, a well-known sheet fabrication company. The ideal candidates will be semi-skilled, with previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
Location: Bridport, Dorset
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm
Role Allocation:
2x candidates – Day Shift – 8am – 5pm
1x candidates – Night Shift – 6pm – 6am – pay TBC
Key Duties:
Organising and preparing items for the paint line
Hanging items on the paint line ready for painting
Removing painted items from the line and sorting them accordingly
Cleaning and preparing items before they are painted
Handling and moving paint and materials as required (occasionally handling boxes of up to 20kg)
Requirements
Good level of physical fitness – the role involves regular movement and manual handling
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and ability to follow processes
A proactive and reliable attitude

Main Responsibilities
- Perform harnesses, power cable and coax cable installation in accordance with design data and job instruction
- Carrying out any necessary troubleshooting/repairs of avionic systems or parts replacing based on design documentation and relative job instruction
- Perform acceptance test procedure of avionic systems and measuring the general performance of the aircraft based design documentation and job instruction
- Able to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and circuitry.
- Able to read and understand installation drawing
- Operate efficiently to conclude all on-site installation, repair, and test activities.
- Guarantee that the work progress accurately follows the agenda and follow the proper safety standard
- Operate equipment in a safe manner, and use proper technical publication.
- Be active part of assembly team , contributing to the execution of all activities (troubleshooting, installation, and testing).
Requirements
- Min. 1 years working experience in aerospace as an electritian.
- Proven experience as Airplane technician is mandatory.
- Practical skill on installation of harnesses and avionic component.
- Practical skills to crimp pins and terminal lug in accordance to the specific vendor requirement.

- Previous experience as helicopters Avionic is a plus
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
