You will be responsible for defining research methodologies, guiding research activities, and translating complex user data into actionable recommendations for product, design, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, and diary studies. You will have a proven ability to advocate for the user, influence product direction based on research findings, and build strong collaborative relationships across the organization. Experience mentoring junior researchers and leading research initiatives is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and conduct a variety of user research studies (qualitative and quantitative).

  • Develop user personas, journey maps, and user flow diagrams based on research.

  • Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide junior UX researchers, fostering their professional development.

  • Stay current with the latest UX research methodologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in UX research, with demonstrated experience in a lead or senior role.
  • Proven expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Experience with user research tools and platforms (e.g., UserTesting.com, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics).
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience advocating for user needs and influencing product strategy.
