We're looking for a Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) & UX Lead to take full ownership of our experimentation and optimisation roadmap. You'll be at the heart of improving how millions of users experience our E-commerce platforms - combining analytics, creativity, and user empathy to boost performance across the customer journey.
What You'll Do
- Lead & define a bold, data-driven CRO strategy to increase engagement, conversion, and retention across our B2C websites.
- Design, run, and analyse A/B, multivariate, and personalisation tests to continually improve the customer experience.
- Turn insights into action - identifying customer pain points through user research, analytics, and behavioural data (ContentSquare, GA, Adobe Target).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, designers, marketers, and content creators to deliver best-in-class user experiences.
- Manage and mentor both internal and external resources (including our CRO agency) to ensure optimisation efforts are scalable and ROI-driven.
- Present test results and recommendations to senior stakeholders - translating data into compelling stories that influence strategy.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging CRO and UX trends, tools, and technologies to maintain our digital edge.
- Support campaign activity on-site, ensuring every promotion and user journey is optimised for performance.
- Proven experience managing CRO and personalisation programs for high-traffic eCommerce websites.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience with Adobe Target and proficiency with tools like ContentSquare, Google Analytics, and tag management systems .
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals (enough to collaborate confidently with developers).

We currently have a unique opportunity for a Lead UX Designer to join a one of a kind organistation in the not-for-profit space, whose customers are at the heart of everything they do.
You'll be joining a UX team working collaborative and cross-functional environment co-creating solutions grounded in real customer needs. This is an integral role and will play a lead role in continuously improving the design methodology, tools, processes and embedding UCD principles across the business. You will also developing, mentoring a leading a team of 3-5 UX Designers.
What you'll be doing
- Champion user centred design and inclusive research so customer insight, behavioural data and service metrics inform decisions at roadmap and portfolio level.
- Oversee experience quality from discovery through to measurement, ensuring the right problems are solved and the right fidelity delivered at the right time.
- Establish principles and guidelines for using behavioural insights ethically across Motability Operations’ digital services.
- Promote accessibility and inclusion, with strong practical knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and how to apply it across web and native experiences.
- Coach and mentor designers at all levels, creating conditions where people do their best work.
- Shape and promote a culture of design excellence, ensuring the UX team grows in influence and capability.
What you'll bring.
- Extensive hands-on experience in roles Lead Product/ UX designer roles across multiple devices and platforms within B2C environment
- Experience of shaping product or service direction in complex environments.
- Strong experience in Behavioural Design and understanding of psychological principles of design
- Strong critical analysis skills, that can use all the factors of UX practice to evaluate and critique solutions against the problem or opportunity
- You'll be an accessibility advocate with deep knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design, with practical expertise in applying WCAG 2.2 standards.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and mentoring people
- Experienced in designing end to end user experiences using qualitative and quantitative data to create digital user experience journey maps.
- Experience using a test and iterate approach through usability studies, and collaborating on early UX research methods
