We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Manager to build and lead our talented team of UX designers and researchers. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the user experience strategy, overseeing the design process, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centred solutions. Main Responsibilities:

  • UX Strategy:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Grow, lead and mentor a team of UX designers and researchers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Provide guidance and coaching to enhance team performance.
      Improve Twinkl’s design processes, setting out the methods by which each UX designer will achieve their greatest possible impact on the wider business.
    • Develop and maintain documentation (such as an asset library) to enable the above, as well as business-wide design guidelines.
  • Business Leadership
    • Run UX training sessions for Product Owners, developers and other stakeholders. 
    • Support the usage and development of Twinkl’s CMS.
    • Become the central advocate for adherence to UX principles within Twinkl.
    • Manage high-value collaborative projects, such as the ongoing implementation of a new bespoke CMS.
  • User Research and Testing: 
    • Plan team-wide user research activities to gain deep insights, translating these into new page designs or CRO tests in a way that maximises their impact.
    • Lead on or personally conduct user testing sessions, to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement. 
  • UX Documentation: 
    • Create and maintain UX documentation, including wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design guidelines. Ensure that design assets are organized and easily accessible to the team.
  • Performance Measurement: 
    • Establish KPIs and metrics to assess the impact of UX initiatives. Continuously monitor and analyze user feedback and data to drive iterative improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

What you'll be doing

Application process

Applicants will be shortlisted and selected for a short call with our Talent Acquisition Specialist. You'll talk experience, ambitions and salary expectations. From there the interview process will consist of two stages.  

If you’re excited about working for us but don’t have all the relevant skills, we would still love to hear from you. You may have relevant experience or transferable skills. We are all the better because of the many diverse backgrounds our employees have so don't let not ticking every box hold you back, give it a go! 

Interview Adjustments  

We do everything possible to create the best experience for candidates. We appreciate interviews can be challenging, so, please let us know if any adjustments will make you more comfortable or confident. For example, provide extra time or flexibility on assessments, have a chaperone on the interview, supply questions up front, or anything else that might help your application.
