Field Service Engineer - Medical Imaging (Scotland)
Full-time | Scotland (Glasgow/Edinburgh focus) | 36,000-47,000 + Car + Bonus + other benefits
A unique opportunity has opened for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established, UK-leading provider of medical imaging technology . The role blends technical field service support with consultative sales and close collaboration with commercial teams, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both engineering and client-facing work.
The Company:
With a legacy dating back over 50 years this company is a recognised leader in medical imaging solutions. As part of a larger healthcare group, they combine technical excellence with a strong focus on customer service and long-term partnerships.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting medical imaging systems including:
- X-Ray machines
- Surgical C-Arms
- Dental X-Ray units
You'll also work closely with the sales and product teams, providing technical insight during client consultations, helping tailor imaging solutions, and identifying up-sell opportunities.
Location:
- Based in Scotland , with most work concentrated in Glasgow, Edinburgh with some in the Aberdeen area.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (door-to-door)
Package & Benefits:
- Salary: 36,000 - 47,000 (experience dependent)
- Company Bonus
- Company Car (EV) + Fuel card
- Paid overtime
- Lunch allowance
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays = 33 days holiday total.

Who We're Looking For:
- Experienced Field Service Engineering
- Ideally a background in medical imaging, medical engineering or ex-REME engineers however alternative transferable backgrounds are welcomed
- HNC or above in Electronics or related discipline
- Comfortable in client-facing roles , supporting sales teams, and building rapport with end users
