Department Lead Valuation Surveyor required!
Our client is an established firm of Independent Chartered Surveyors providing property surveying services to clients in London, South of England. With a controlled expansion they would like to attract a Valuation Surveyor to complement their team.
A strong Business Development mindset would be advantageous however, not essential. Ideally be suited to someone looking for the next step towards Directorship, someone that has aspirations and drive to match. In truth for the right person there are no boundaries.
Ideally you would be MRICS or on the pathway to become so and have experience working in a Building Surveying practice completing similar instructions.
Basic salary circa 60,000 - 70,000 however this is unlimited as there will be a commission structure also offered + professional fees and package.

**‒** To assist in the successful implementation and delivery of all aspects of valuation consultancy
‒Conduct physical property inspections and assist senior valuers with more complex inspections
‒Collaborate with other members of the Valuation team on the valuation process
‒Conduct technical aspects of property due diligence and review changes to valuation data
‒Select appropriate comparables, performing analysis, and drawing conclusions
‒Perform valuation modelling (including DCF modelling), calculations and analysis and support for senior valuers on more complex valuations

**Person Specification/Requirements**
‒MRICS qualified or equivalent.

‒Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in property valuation

This role is a key leadership position within Cigna's European Actuarial team, which is engaged in a diverse range of actuarial functions including reserving, pricing, and statutory reporting. The position reports directly to the Head of Valuation.
The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the reserving process and support both local and corporate statutory reporting for Cigna's International Organisations business.
