**The Team:**
FICC Business Finance & Control forms part of the GBAM CFO Group and is a control and business advisory function to the business. The team's work primarily covers P&L, balance sheet and Valuation controls with a dynamic book of work providing opportunities to make improvements to our work through varied project work. This role is supporting the EMEA Global Non-Linear Rates business, which is primarily market making in Swaps and
Complex Interest Rate/FX options within the EMEA region. This team works closely with the trading desk, the global valuations group (GVG), market risk, legal entity controllers and many other support functions.

**Responsibilities:**
Performing the calculation and analysis of valuation controls including IPV,
valuation adjustments and prudent valuation adjustments, as well as ownership
for quarterly disclosures.
Working with the Global Valuation Group for the ongoing review of valuation control methodologies and practices.
Ensuring procedure documents are accurate and up to date
Assisting in the streamlining and enhancement valuation processes and becoming actively involved with system development ranging from technical enhancements and new product releases to automation of existing processes.
Contributing to business forecast routines and new product reviews.
Engaging with the key stakeholders including Front Line Units, Accounting Policy
Group, Risk and Global Valuation Group to implement appropriate accounting
policies and procedures.
Ability to build a strong understanding of valuation controls, regulatory rules and governance
including Independent Price Verification, Valuation Adjustments and Prudential
Valuation.

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or CFA with good working knowledge of accounting concepts is preferable.

  • Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts assistant role (property experience desirable but not essential).
  • Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Excel (basic formulas, data management).
  • Experience with property management systems such as TRAMPS, YARDI, QUBE
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A professional and proactive approach to handling client and tenant funds.

We are working exclusively with a prestigious international law firm seeking a Real Estate Associate Solicitor (2-4 years PQE) to join its highly regarded London office. The Role

You will focus on pure real estate transactions , working closely with senior associates and partners on a broad range of high-profile commercial property matters. The firm advises on some of the most significant deals in the sector, offering you exposure to complex, cutting-edge transactions and a client base that includes leading investors, developers, funds, and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on acquisitions, disposals, lettings, and asset management of high-value commercial real estate.
  • Supporting large-scale investment and development projects.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts and transaction documents.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments on multi-disciplinary matters.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2-4 years PQE .
  • Strong technical background in real estate transactions (training or post-qualification).
