Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.
You will join the Vehicle Dynamics Team for our client to deliver the ride, steering and handling of future world-class vehicles.

You will have a leading role in defining handling, drive comfort and braking targets of our client’s products for the West European market.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop vehicle-level system architecture for EV applications
- Develop and integrate high and low voltage systems, communication networks, and sensor/actuator interfaces
- Conduct real-time embedded control software development using MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++
- Perform safety analysis and design reviews, supporting compliance to ISO26262 where applicable
- Design and implement test rigs, develop validation protocols, and support vehicle-level testing
- Perform application calibration and feature sign-off
- Conduct data logging, analysis, and simulation for control systems verification
- Document all phases of development, from requirements through to final delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in control system design and embedded software development

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Control Systems Engineer for our client based in Telford.
You will be required to solev complex engineering challenges centred around automated systems and equipment.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience in the following:
- PLC Programming – Allan Bradley / Siemens S7 li>Set-up of system communications, set-up of drives: AC/DC, and inverters
- Knowledge of control of flow, level, pressure, temperature and humidity
- Perform testing & validation of hardware/software systems
- Conduct customer training
- Development of Robot and PLC software
- Remote customer support - fault finding and diagnostics
- Be familiar with Risk Assessment and typical Health and Safety Issues in the workplace.
Ideally, you will be qualified to B.Eng / M.Eng in Electrical, electronics or mechatronics. We would also be able to consider BTEC if this is coupled with significant controls / automation experience.
As part of this role, there must be a willingness to work throughout the UK and overseas if required.
This is a permanent role with an immediate start available.
Salary bracket is £42,000 - £47,000 per annum.
