Key responsibilities

  • Review weekly production requirements and schedule production efficiently to meet customer demand.

Qualifications and skills

  • Good experience in a Supply Chain role; experience in the food industry is a plus but not required.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office, email, and presentation tools.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems in a manufacturing context; certifications such as APICS, IPICS, or CIPS are advantageous.
  • Demonstrates active listening and shares relevant information and knowledge with others in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Effectively plans, organizes, and prioritizes resources and activities to achieve outcomes using appropriate methods.
  • Shows adaptability and flexibility to succeed in dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Open to exploring alternative ideas and approaches to improve processes and outcomes.

Summary of Responsibilities: Align the supply chain strategy with the company’s needs to ensure the business is provided best in class suppliers at competitive rates, to enhance our overall service offering to our customers Support the delivery of profit improvement for our clients through better buying Increase preferred supplier framework agreements Provide supply chain nominations for category management through adopting best in class procurement practices throughout the business Analyse spend data to rationalise the supply chain, optimise the use of preferred suppliers and track progress to ensure targets are achieved Arrange and attend supplier days to capture innovation and deliver Dalkia’s expectations, both for Procurement and individual contracts, creating a template and agenda and providing support where required Create a business wide SRM strategy, providing templates, structure and support Capture and report on performance of the supply chain Support corrective action plans Produce reports on growth & reward schemes, increased use of preferred suppliers and rationalisation of the supply chain benefits, to be communicated to the business Take ownership of supplier onboarding processes and acceptance criteria All other areas surrounding procurement tasks To be successful in the role you will have: A procurement supply chain background in facilities management or similar service outsourcing business Intermediate Excel skills inc. pivot tables, v look ups, formulas – to be assessed as part of the selection process Experience of Power Bi Reporting Strong analytical skills Excellent stakeholder management skills CIPS Level 4 We offer: Flexible working arrangements Competitive salary Pension 6-8% match Life Insurance Private Medical Insurance 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays with ability to purchase an additional 5 days holiday per year Flexible Benefits scheme Employee Assistance Programme - free confidential support on all lifestyle matters Recognition programmes At Dalkia, we are committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
