We have great opportunity for flexible working within the Grimsby area for experienced car drivers. The role of a Car Driver - Vessel Operative is responsible for car movements on the compound, Discharging cars from vessels (compound to compound driving), Driving manual and automatic vehicles, Ensuring safety rules are adhered to at all times, Quality inspections and General duties

Your role

  • Discharge and load of vessels, driving cars, vans and high-end premium vehicles. Full training will be provided for all vehicles
  • Driving a variety of multi fuel and electric vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Load building and ensuring vehicles are pulled in a timely manner in preparation for collection.
  • Completing vehicle quality checks and report any damage completing the relevant paperwork and liaising with appropriate departments.
  • You will be required to undertake terminal housekeeping including litter picking and line marking duties.

Ferrying Pay rates:
Days -12.21ph
Nights - 12.96ph
Weekends - 13.23ph

DischargingPay rates:
Days -12.39ph
Nights - 13.14ph
Weekends - 14.47ph

Shifts Available:
Varied

You MUSThold a driving licence for a min of 2 years, max 6 points and over the age of 23 years due to insurance.

**The Role**
Boeing's Defence UK Digital Function is at the forefront of delivering innovative programmes within the Defence and Security sectors across the UK. This role will primarily focus design and execution of a significant programme of work for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in the Engineering and Logistics domain.

**Primary Responsibilities**
As part of your role, your duties and responsibilities will include:
+ Establishing and evolving maritime user needs, requirements, and business processes with customers.
+ Ensuring that the planning of activities to deliver maritime products and services has addressed all activities needed to meet the user needs, requirements, and business processes of customers.
+ Reviewing and approving impact assessments (customer or Boeing trade off driven) for maritime product and services.
+ Reviewing and approving maritime design baselines.
+ Presenting maritime solutions at Joint Solution Coherence Reviews.
+ Engaging with customers for generation development of Verification (system) and Validation (user) test strategy for maritime systems and services
+ Reviewing and approving maritime design baselines.
+ _Please note that the above list is not exhaustive and you'll be required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required._
**Preferred Experience**
+ In-depth understanding of MOD (Maritime) maintenance, equipment, and engineering processes.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of MOD, DEFSTAN / JSP standards.
+ Deep digital skills, with demonstrable experience in leading the delivery of technology services for enterprise class logistics / engineering services for the MOD.
+ Natural integrator of multi-disciplinary teams.
+ Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills covering colleagues, partners / vendors and project sponsors.
+ Implementing / Product / Service owner of ERP and MRO systems.
+ Degree-level education preferred.
+ Self-starter with experience working in a matrix organization, capable of discussing ideas and concepts with staff at all levels.
+ Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, partners, vendors, and project sponsors.
+ Experience in applying consultancy approaches and techniques.
