Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our veterinary care assistant team.

Working as part of a team of 7 in total, including veterinary care assistants, nurses and a vet, the night team is responsible for providing excellent care of our inpatients overnight.

You must be a committed person who will be dedicated to the care and welfare of our patients. Your ability to work independently, use initiative and communicate well within a team is of great importance, as well as a hard-working nature and confidence handling small animals.

Previous employment or voluntary work experience with small animals is essential, and previous experience with night work and an animal management certificate or similar is preferred.

We have one full-time role working 7 nights on, 7 nights off, Monday to Sunday. Shifts are 11 hours (8:30pm-7:30am).

We offer a salary of £13.01 per hour, a company pension scheme, life assurance and an award-winning employee assistance programme.
