Job Description
Video Content Creator & Editor | Beauty & Skincare
Location: North London (Hybrid: 2 days office-based)
We’re working with an industry-leading beauty brand with a cult-like following. Due to continued growth and success, the opportunity to recruit a Video Content Creator has arisen to turn products into scroll-stopping moments.
We’re not looking for UGC-style content here. This is a chance to produce beautifully branded, high-performing content that lives across paid social, DTC, and retail channels.
If you’re passionate about beauty, obsessed with great lighting, and can spot a weak cut from a mile away, this could be your next role.
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm, plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content that’s visually premium and designed to convert across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Capture high-quality studio footage of their products in action (pouring textures, close-ups of finished manicures, skincare applications, etc)
- Own product storytelling through video: getting the lighting right, perfecting the colour balance, and creating impact through subtle details
- Edit existing footage from shoots (including influencer and campaign material) into ads that perform, using different crops, text overlays, hooks, and cutdowns
- Help develop visual language for our new launches, from top-funnel awareness content to product tutorials
- Collaborate with their brand and channel teams to understand what performs and continuously optimise based on data
- Keep file organisation tidy and shared folders clear, from raw footage to final assets
- Occasionally support large-scale shoots (internal and external) with gear setup or BTS capture
- Experiment with AI tools to scale content output and generate motion effects or cutdowns where relevant
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years worth of experience in video content creation for paid media and digital channels - Show us your portfolio or social links. Preference for candidates who have experience working in-house, ideally within the beauty industry.
- Confident working with professional cameras and high-end smartphones, capturing beauty products with the right framing, focus, and lighting to really make them shine.
- Skilled in editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve - creating polished videos with seamless cuts, music, colour tweaks, and the right aspect ratios for every platform.
- Experienced in adding captions, text overlays, and lower-thirds, and excited to explore motion graphics or After Effects down the line.
- Knows how to get clean audio using lavalier, wireless, or shotgun mics, and can tidy up sound in the editing process.

You’ll be managing a global team of video and animation editors , overseeing multiple projects at once, and driving content that captivates millions of viewers. If you have a deep knowledge of video editing and are an experienced people manager with an unwavering passion for social media, then this is an ideal role for you.
About Us
We’re a dynamic digital publishing company based in Central London, revolutionizing how knowledge is dissected and shared through social media. With billions of views and over 24 million+ subscribers , our platforms continue to expand at an incredible pace:

Our tight-knit team of production managers works in an inspiring WeWork office space , just a short walk from Old Street Station, offering the perfect environment for creativity, growth and social events.
The Role
As a Video Production Manager , your focus will be on post-production management . You should have a solid understanding of the video editing process and be confident in directing and overseeing a remote team of editors , providing creative direction and maintaining quality control across multiple projects.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you will have significant creative influence —more than in a traditional Production Manager role. To qualify… You should be a Creative Production Manager / Production Lead / Creative Lead / Lead Video Editor / Video Editor / Video Producer / Creative Editor / Post Production Specialist
To thrive in this role, you should have:
· Basic knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid, After Effects)
· A strong track record of success in video production or post-production
· Experience managing remote, diverse teams
· Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
· A dynamic, adaptable mindset with the ability to work under pressure
· Outstanding communication skills (both written and spoken)
· A solid understanding of enthusiasm for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram .
· A passion for learning and staying ahead in the digital media space
· A team-player attitude with a drive to create viral-worthy content
What We Offer
· A competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 (plus uncapped performance-related bonuses )
· Mentorship from one of the most successful viral content creators in the world
· The opportunity to make a serious impact from day one —your work will be viewed millions of times every day
· 28 days of holiday leave
· A social, dog-friendly office near Silicon Roundabout, with free coffee/tea and networking events
· 5 days per week, 9am-6pm, with huge *uncapped* performance-related bonuses (unheard-of at traditional organizations)
If you’re an experienced post-production manager looking for a highly independent role where you can shape content at a global scale, this is the opportunity for you!

Job Description
TL;DR
Love video games? Love cutting shit-hot edits that actually hit? We’re looking for an experienced left-brain/right-brain creative who has the technical know-how to create high quality in-engine and in-game footage along with the creative talent required to edit it into scroll stopping content for trailers, social, and other bits and bobs. You’ll blend cinematic technical capture skills with sharp editing chops to create polished, compelling content that lands hard with the gaming community.
WHO ARE OTHER THINGS?
We’re a creative agency with a focus on the gaming and entertainment industries. We produce a lot of videos, websites, marketing and brand assets, and all the other creative bits in-between, for some of the world’s biggest gaming brands.
We’re called Other Things.
WHAT’S THE JOB?
You’ll be part cinematographer, part editor, turning raw gameplay, captures, and creative assets into scroll stopping content. One day you might be flying a virtual camera in Unreal Engine, framing the perfect action shot; the next you’re cutting together a slick trailer or hype reel for a big game launch, and everything in between - sometimes fast, always polished.
We want someone who gets how video works in the gaming space. You understand pace, rhythm, timing and what keeps a viewer watching. You’ll bring energy and creativity to every project, combining clever storytelling with clean production and a sharp eye for detail.
You’ll be working closely with our writers, designers, producers and clients - shaping content that gets seen by millions. You’ll also need to keep up with social trends, cultural moments, and what fans are actually watching.
You’ll know how to take compelling gameplay captures in both Unreal Engine and Unity, then edit them into content that hits hard online.
MORE DETAILS? AS BULLET POINTS?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capture gameplay footage: In-game cinematography experience, and knowing how to frame a shot, will be vital. Utilise game engines (Unreal Engine or Unity) for in-engine cinematic captures when required
- Edit a wide range of content: trailers, social edits, sizzles, explainers, hype videos, and more
- Cut footage from gameplay, interviews, live-action shoots or archive material and make it sing
- Problem solving technical and creative capture challenges
- Tailor edits for different platforms, with a hook first, social savvy mindset
- Bring fresh, relevant creative thinking to every brief - from concept to final delivery
- Work closely with creative leads, producers, and designers to keep content aligned and on-brand
- Stay on top of what’s trending in video content across gaming, football, and pop culture
- Ensure final exports are technically sound, beautifully presented, and ready for delivery
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A strong showreel or portfolio that shows range, creativity, and polish
- Expert level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience with cinematic camera techniques in games
- Solid experience with Unreal Engine and Unity for in-engine capture
- Comfortable with both editing and in-game / in-engine capture
- Strong understanding of editing for social: hook first mindset, vertical video experience, fast paced storytelling
- Good sense of sound design, music sync and pace
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure (without sacrificing quality)
- Passionate about video games
- Excellent attention to detail and a love for good storytelling, even in short formats
- A good team player with a collaborative mindset
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience working with gaming brands
- Motion graphics skills
- Knowledge of templates, motion libraries or plug-ins to speed up workflows
- Familiarity with tools like Frame.io, Trello, Slack, Google Suite
- Basic colour grading or sound mix skills
- Any experience with 3D or animation
- Big bonus if you play and love football games
WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?
Apart from some cold, hard cash? You’ll be editing trailers, gameplay content, and hype pieces for some of the biggest names in gaming. You’ll work with a team that values creativity, clarity and clever ideas, and you’ll get to see your work out in the wild being enjoyed by millions. There’s room to experiment, room to level up, and space to bring your own spice box to the mix.
Rewarding projects, good people, proper pay.
