We’ve recently built an in-house creative team to match our ambition; and we’re looking for a Creative Design Lead to head up the team and shape the way we show up in the world.
Reporting to our Head of Brand, you’ll lead the creative direction of our brand across 17 European markets; working across brand campaigns, digital performance, product comms, content, and more. From high-level vision to detailed execution, you’ll set the design standard, push the creative work, and help the team grow.
This is a design-focused role. You’ll be the creative visionary in the room; bringing to life our visual identity, leading design execution, and making sure our ideas don’t just look great, but resonate with clarity, impact, and purpose. You’ll collaborate across teams and disciplines, balancing creative design with business goals; and transforming briefs into compelling visual experiences.
We’re not looking for someone to just keep the engine running. We’re looking for someone to help us elevate how Treatwell visually communicates, connects, and grows.
You will be responsible for:- Leading creative across the brand: Campaigns, launches, content, paid, CRM, internal comms; you’ll help shape how we visually present ourselves, wherever we show up. This will include 360 creative across TV, OOH, Digital, and Social.
- Being hands-on in the creative process: This is a role for someone who still loves getting into the tools and the craft. Whether it's refining a design, perfecting motion graphics, or sketching out initial concepts, you’ll actively create and execute alongside your team.
- Managing and mentoring the creative team: Designers, motion designers, and visual artists; you’ll set direction, build design capabilities, and help them produce the best work of their careers, all while still rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in the design process.
- Being the go-to for big briefs: You’ll lead on our major campaigns and cross-functional projects, from concept through to final delivery, ensuring they’re beautifully executed with a strong visual impact.
- Championing creative consistency: Across all touchpoints, you’ll help maintain and evolve a brand that feels cohesive, modern, and scalable, driving design innovation.
- Understanding the nuances of each platform: You’ll know when something requires exceptional craft to elevate the brand, and when something should feel more platform-native to drive attention, engagement, and clicks.
- Collaborating across the business: You’ll work closely with brand, marketing, product, and performance teams to ensure design thinking is embedded throughout the customer journey and brand experience.
- Keeping it digital-first: You understand the nuances of digital design for paid social, email, web, and performance design; and how to adapt great design to every format. Building the connection between our product (app) and marketing.
- 7+ years’ experience in a creative design role, with time spent leading design teams in high-growth, fast-moving environments.
- A potfolio that demonstrates sharp design thinking across campaigns, content, and digital channels, with a focus on innovative visual solutions.
- Proven experience leading in-house design teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful, cohesive brand visuals.

JOB SUMMARY
Manage the Interior Design process for new developments and renovations across a land or small group of lands in collaboration with Universal Creative. Adhere to comprehensive budgets and implementation strategies for design, construction, and procurement. Lead and coordinate vendors and consultants, ensuring progress is tracked and aligned throughout all phases of design and construction.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (% of time)
+ Serve as the Universal Creative representative and steward throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring adherence to UC standards and maintaining design integrity. Oversee the review of consultant and vendor drawings, specifications, and material selections to confirm alignment with Universal's high-quality benchmarks. Provide direction and final approvals on design elements, finishes, and documentation. During construction, collaborate with the Architecture & Engineering team to review submittals, respond to RFIs, and verify that site conditions conform to contract documents - 40%
+ Act as the primary point of contact for all interior design-related aspects of the project. Provide guidance and timely responses to consultants, contractors, and vendors regarding design intent, construction details, and issue resolution to ensure alignment and progress throughout the project lifecycle - 30%
+ Support all phases of interior design by collaborating as part of the in-house Creative team to establish the design direction for each facility type. Contribute to preliminary planning by documenting spatial relationships and operational requirements, while ensuring compliance with local life safety codes. Partner with Creative teams to develop presentation materials-including sketches and visual aids-that effectively communicate design intent - 10%
+ Develop location-specific material guidelines that align with operational needs and leverage historical insights, while integrating sustainable design practices throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee and validate FF&E budget allocations, ensuring estimates are accurately managed during the bidding process. Lead the RFP and vendor bidding process for interior services, including vendor evaluation, recommendation, and final selection approval. Review and assess substitution requests, ensuring compliance with project standards. Monitor vendor deliverables to confirm quality, adherence to specifications, and alignment with budgetary constraints - 10%
+ Review consultant and vendor contracts prepared by the Contracts department to ensure scopes of work are comprehensive and aligned with project requirements. Verify percentage of completion for accurate billing. Actively participate in team collaboration sessions to support project alignment and progress - 10%
+ Demonstrate a strong understanding of and active participation in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by adhering to established UDX policies, procedures, training protocols, and team member engagement initiatives.
