This role is crucial in creating visually appealing store layouts and displays that drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience. - Monitor stock levels and communicate any replenishment needs to maintain display integrity.
- Create and update visual merchandising standards manuals and guides.
- Train store staff on visual merchandising principles and execution.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest retail and fashion trends to inspire new display concepts.
- Analyse sales data to understand the impact of visual merchandising on product performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Manage visual merchandising budgets and order necessary props and materials.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the retail sector.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative visual display concepts and execution.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, colour theory, and spatial arrangement.
- Proficiency in using visual merchandising tools and software (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, as required by store operational needs.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting items up to 25kg.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for fashion and retail aesthetics.
- Ability to interpret and implement brand guidelines effectively.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Sunderland area.
