Our client, a leading global consultancy , is seeking an experienced Connectivity & SD-WAN Architect to lead end-to-end network architecture for the integration of a major enterprise platform. This role will drive the strategy and technical design for SD-WAN adoption, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready connectivity in alignment with global architecture principles.
Operating in a dynamic, agile environment, the successful candidate will collaborate across architecture, engineering, and IT teams to shape network evolution, ensure interoperability across platforms, and govern key transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the end-to-end connectivity architecture supporting the convergence of enterprise platforms.
- Lead the design and implementation strategy for SD-WAN across a modernised infrastructure landscape.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable network solutions.
- Govern technical decisions related to connectivity, network transformation, and cloud integration.
- Ensure interoperability between legacy systems and modern platforms to deliver seamless user and operational experiences.
- Represent the SD-WAN and connectivity strategy in architectural forums and governance bodies.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation including target states, transformation roadmaps, and technical standards.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years in B2B network architecture with deep expertise in SD-WAN , hybrid WAN , and enterprise connectivity .
- Strong experience in platform integration and large-scale IT transformation projects.
- In-depth understanding of telecom-grade networks, cloud-native integration models, and enterprise IT.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions such as Cisco or Fortinet, including orchestration and network security.
- Proven ability to lead architecture and governance in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Familiar with industry frameworks: TM Forum , Open Digital Architecture (ODA) , TOGAF .
- Experience with SAFe or other scaled agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

Your role
We are looking for a 3rd Line Shared Service Support Network Engineer (SD-WAN) to work collaboratively across our accounts within the SD-WAN shared service. Your role will involve direct technical support for services in the SD-WAN team as part of the 3rd Line Team and assist in the day-to-day operations and duties of the SD-WAN Service. The engineer will also work with the current support personnel to understand the products and their use across the shared service and to develop and enhance their diagnostic skills / capability.

- Create workarounds, solutions, and mitigations for identified issues.

- To perform remote diagnostic tests where applicable to aid primary fault rectification

Your experience

- Ideally have been in a support role in a WAN environment, i.e. has knowledge of IP, Routing, SD-WAN solutions, Cisco Viptela, encryption, edge virtualization (VMWare or Adva)
