Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Supply Chain Management: Ensure all materials, plant, and equipment are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time. You will manage purchase orders, delivery notes, and coordinate with drivers and suppliers.
li>Warehouse & Facilities Oversight: Take responsibility for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and cleanliness of the warehouse. This includes coordinating repairs, handling utility bills, and managing the ordering of tools and equipment.
• Administrative & Financial Support: Provide administrative support to the team, manage purchase orders, and process invoices.
• Health & Safety: Be proactive in maintaining a safe working environment, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with all company standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Procurement Administrator, Stock Controller, and other managers to ensure smooth project delivery, attend planning meetings, and provide key support to field staff.

Your role will be to support the Service Manager whilst carrying out and looking to improve the service provided by the Warehouse. Based in the Croydon warehouse, you will be working with your colleagues to create an efficient and safe environment.

As the Warehouse Operative, your daily responsibilities will include;

• Preparing customer stocks for route delivery and assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles
• Working as part of the overall service support team to ensure all work is completed to the required deadlines
• Working with drivers and service management team to ensure customer stocks are prepared for delivery
• Contributing to daily tasks including, packing, sorting and segregation of mats, rolls, sanitary bins, nappy bins and other customer stock.
• Supports and liaises with service centre suppliers including Plant, Trunking, Drivers and Service management
• Planning time to ensure that the service operation runs efficiently to support customer expectations
• Organising work area to ensure that the service centre is efficient and effective
• Focusing on supporting the business and meeting customer service expectations

Requirements

Requirements for this role:

• Hold a valid driving license to travel to Brentford and collect stock at least once per week
• Previous experience working in a warehouse
• Highly organized
• Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive
• Demonstrate clear and confident communication skills with customers and colleagues
• Capable of working independently and possesses a positive 'can do' attitude

2. Personnel Capacity Building: Build a competency system to support quality and operational analysis; formulate frontline growth plans, including new employee efficiency improvement, cross-functional certification for veteran employees, and team leader training.
3. Monthly Staffing Planning: Develop monthly staffing plans based on order volume forecasts and individual warehouse actuals to ensure cost control and meet efficiency targets.
4. Dynamic Staffing Adjustment: Monitor order volume fluctuations and efficiency changes, and promptly adjust staffing plans to balance production stability and cost control.

Job Requirements：

1. Bachelor's degree or above; requirements may be relaxed for those with outstanding experience.
2. Experience with the entire promotion process, including manpower estimation, process adjustments, review and summary, and daily monitoring.
