- Hold a valid driving license to travel to Brentford and collect stock at least once per week

The Role

Samples
Prepare and package rug samples for daily Royal Mail dispatch.

Customer Outreach & Communication

Write clear, professional emails to assist with quotes, orders, and sample requests.
Work closely with the wider team to ensure every enquiry is followed up promptly and every lead is maximised.
Warehouse & Dispatch
Receive deliveries, check goods, and prepare rugs for dispatch.
Wrap and package rugs securely and book shipments through the DHL web portal.
Ensure the warehouse remains tidy, safe, and efficient at all times.
About You
Organised and detail-driven – you take pride in clean, efficient systems and accurate work.
Strong computer skills – confident with Word, Excel, email, and web-based systems (CRM or ecommerce experience a bonus).
Excellent phone communicator – comfortable speaking to customers, building rapport, and following up confidently.
Clear written communicator – able to write concise, professional emails.

Dutypoint produces, sells and distributes pump systems primarily to the construction sector for the provision of solutions such as hot and cold water, water pressure booster sets, waste water management systems and fire safety sprinkler systems.
We are an innovative and dynamic company with new products and improved versions of existing products being launched each year as well as ambitious growth plans for the future.
One of the Dutypoint group divisions, Flowtech Water Solutions, is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Wigan. Flowtech are a water services and water booster specialist, working nationally with local councils, design engineers, mechanical contractors and end users.
Working in a team of 5, you will mainly be picking and packing orders, liaising with Manufacturing and dealing with couriers to arrange despatch of goods to customers.
There will also be some basic computer work and you will be responsible for maintaining ISO standards, ensuring serial numbers are logged accurately, inputting courier details and preparing courier paperwork.
You must be physically fit and able as there will be some lifting involved. Experience on machinery such as pallet trucks or forklift trucks is advantageous, however this is not essential as training can be provided. A friendly individual with a can do approach is sought.
Hours of Work
Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (30 minute lunch break; 15 minute morning break; 15 minute afternoon break).
Role & Responsibilities
- Being able to work independently and efficiently.
- Maintain the quality of the manufactured product throughout the manufacturing process, resolving issues found until systems work consistently and reliably.
- To accurately record work and complete quality records.
- To appropriately operate and maintain the machinery in use.
- Being aware of company health & safety requirements
