Location: Home Based - covering East Mids/Nottingham
Salary: £24,000 (unqualified trainer) - £28,000 (qualified trainer) + company car
We are looking for an experienced Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver apprenticeships standards across Level 2 & 3 programmes in the East Midlands/Nottinghamshire region for this well establish grade 2 private training provider. Working from home, you will be responsible for the progression of your apprentices, supporting them through their learning journey through to completion / end point assessment.
This will include a mixture of blended delivery and assessment, including online support along with with visiting learners within the workplace/ face to face visits.The caseload will include a mixture of Level 2 & 3 apprentices across Warehousing, Customer Service, Trade Supplier and Fitted Furniture Design Technician standards along with functional skills delivery/support.
You will be responsible for
- Delivering and assessing apprenticeship standards
- Manage caseload of apprentices across the East Midlands/Nottinghamshire region
- Support in the development of learner resources and lesson plans
- Develop ILPs with learners
- Provide on-going support and guidance to apprentices

Essential criteria
- Hold an Assessor Qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, D32/D33.) & Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, L3 AET min) however training can be provided for unqualified trainers/assessors
- Experience in a similar role delivery/ assessing full apprenticeship standards
- Hold occupational competency within delivery areas
- Full, clean drivers license

Position Summary
As the Distribution Center Manager – Bulky Items , you will take full ownership of daily warehouse operations focused on receiving, storing, and dispatching large-scale products. You will manage inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse layout planning, and last-mile coordination while ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation.
This role requires both strategic oversight and operational hands-on leadership to deliver high performance in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage all aspects of the DC’s bulky item operations—receiving, storing, picking, loading, and dispatch
- Team Management: Lead and develop a team of supervisors, warehouse staff, and forklift operators; oversee scheduling and performance
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure proper handling of heavy and fragile items and maintain compliance with health & safety standards
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory accuracy and loss prevention for high-value, large-format goods
