About the teamA great opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our experienced and customer focused supply chain team supporting the Electrical and Home Appliances division with managing suppliers, product availability and ensuring we deliver product when our customers expect it.
About the roleYou will be responsible for providing administrative support to our supply chain function. The role will have a direct impact on maximising customer satisfaction, sales and profitability through the successful management of the supply base and inventory.
- Day to day management of Direct Despatch order banks across the department, develop best practice to provide efficiencies.
- Support team to manage and resolve ad-hoc issues with under-performing suppliers.
- Support the visibility to the wider teams of key KPI’s including customer promise and stock health through report updates.
- Develops and manages relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to achieve goals.
- Raise purchase orders in line with critical path requirements
- Understands data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and service levels.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies for inventory management, network optimization, and transportation logistics.
- Utilize advanced analytics and modeling techniques to forecast demand, optimize resource allocation, and simulate operational changes.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, IT, and sales teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of supply chain initiatives.
- Manage and implement supply chain technologies, including WMS, TMS, and ERP systems enhancements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure success.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends in supply chain management.
- Lead and mentor junior supply chain analysts and specialists.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management on supply chain performance and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Proven expertise in supply chain optimization, network design, and inventory planning.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau) and statistical modeling.
- Experience with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent understanding of lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in the logistics and warehousing industry is highly preferred.
