Are you an experienced Pre-Commission Cleaning / Water Treatment Engineer?
We are looking for a skilled Engineer to deliver closed system flushing, water hygiene, and compliance services across London and the surrounding areas.
This role will suit someone with strong knowledge of BSRIA standards, hands-on experience in pre-commission cleaning, and the ability to work safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.

Remuneration

£30,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
-
Carry out pre-commission cleaning of closed systems (conventional flushing and CPC filtration).

Perform water hygiene tasks including TMV servicing, calorifier inspections, and tank cleaning/disinfection.

Review schematics and drawings, complete risk assessments, and submit accurate site documentation.

Ensure compliance with BSRIA BG29/2021, BG50/2021 and other industry standards.

Operate safely in line with COSHH procedures and company health and safety policies.

Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and site safety standards.
Requirements
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in pre-commission cleaning.

Proven experience with conventional and CPC filtration flushing.

Strong knowledge of BSRIA BG29/2021, BG50/2021, PD(phone number removed):2015, HSE ACoP L8, HSG274 (Parts 2 & 3), HTM 04-01, and BS8552.

Familiarity with water hygiene procedures and chemical handling.

Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.

The Role
You will be visiting our customers in London and surrounding areas. On occasion travel will be further afield. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
- Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
- Hours: 08:30-15:00 on site
- Work Location: On the road
Initial duties will include (not limited to):
- Clean and chlorination of cold water storage tanks and cooling towers
- Closed system analysis and remedial dosing
- Monitoring water temperatures
- Descaling and disinfecting showerheads
- Collecting water samples for laboratory analysis
- Analysis, testing and checking of chlorine dioxide systems and equipment.
- Fail safe testing of thermostatic mixing valves.
- Tank Inspections

The Watert Treatment Engineer must come from a plumbing background, ideally with level 2 plumbing already
The role will be to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, including, but nnot limited to -

Proven plumbing skills essential.
Replacing flexi hoses with rigid connections
