About the role

You’ll be taking ownership of assigned tasks and delivering quality code. We encourage our developers to actively participate in code reviews and team discussions, and share knowledge. Reporting to a Lead Back-end Developer, you’ll proactively suggest improvements in existing codebases and processes, and demonstrate curiosity with a growth mindset.

As a Back-end Developer you will;

  • Develop, test, and maintain production-ready Java code that is efficient, maintainable, and well-documented.
  • Deploy and maintain backend services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Collaborate effectively in a small team, contributing across multiple areas of the business and interacting with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to support production systems and resolve issues promptly.
