This is a strategic, hands-on role where you’ll set the application strategy, define target and reference architectures, and govern designs across a complex, business-critical estate. • Deep understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, layered, serverless).
• Expert knowledge of big data tools (Kafka, Spark, Hadoop) and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to inform technology recommendations.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Confident communicator able to brief Senior Leadership and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements effectively.

Senior Application Architect/Full-Stack Engineer

As a Senior Application Architect/Engineer you will help customers rapidly visualise, design and deploy applications into cloud-native architectures patterns. This is a hands-on and customer facing role helping organisations build cloud-native prototypes of applications or components and reimagine their application portfolio and SDLC for cloud.

This role sits inside our Strategic Cloud Consulting team who work at the start of the customer life cycle, delivering rapid time to value projects via our unique delivery methodology, before we design and deliver long term consulting and managed service projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and whiteboard with customers to understand application strategy, technical constraints and modernisation enabling mechanisms
• Rapidly design and build cloud-native prototypes of customer applications onto with modern and automated toolchains, and new DevOps ways of working.
• Lead software strategy across the full-stack to redesign the software architecture and embed modern software development life cycle processes
• Build and present an application demo portal, showcasing the latest and greatest in cloud and application architecture
