Job Description
*Do not Whatsapp or Email me. I do not have time to reply. All information you need is listed below. If you can't understand the requirements, then please do not apply.
Introduction:Job Bridge Global is excited to present this long awaited opportunity for skilled TIG and MIG Welders to work and live in the UK under a Work Permit. There are 3 live projects you could end up working on, all of which are landmark jobs in the UK. There are strict requirements. In order to be eligible for shortlisting for a Trade test in Trinidad, you must meet the requirements below.
Essential Requirements:This job requires extremely experienced and talented MIG and TIG Welders. You must have:
- Must be a competent MIG and TIG welder. Do not apply if you can only do one.
- Minimum 3 years experience. Do not apply if you have less, you're time will come. Do not lie.
- Have a smart phone that you can use and an email address that isn't at capacity. We will not 'babysit' candidates who cannot look after themselves.
- A Completely Clean Police Record (COC). You will not pass the security clearance without it. The government will find out and you'll waste everyone's time if you lie. You categorically will not get the job.
- Training Certificates (Not ASME Codes, they're not recognised in the UK). We need your YTEPP, NESC or similar training certificate. Do not apply if you do not have them.
- Resume. Must be up to date. Must not be a scanned image. Must be editable so we can redact personal information.
- If your CV only has job titles for each experience, its not good enough. You must expand on what you were welding, what project you were on, what types of welds, what types of materials, what dimension/diameter of materials, achievements. Remember, everyone in Trinidad knows other Trinidadians, people in the UK have no idea who you are. This is your one chance to stand out and it's on a resume. Anyone who sends in a CV with just a job title 'Welder' for experience and nothing else will be disqualified.
- Do not share your passport scans with us, do not put your passport number in the CV.
- Work History - must be up to date and accurate. Gaps need to be accounted for. Everything needs to be dated from and to. Any Resume without dates will be disqualified. It's a requirement for the security checking.
- References. Must be real, they will be checked by the UK Police force for security checking. We will also be running reference checking which will utilise I.P checks to identify fraud.
- You will require at least £500 available if you get the job. That will see you get by until the first paycheck. JBG and the employer will not be providing cash advances.
The above might be straight to the point, but there is reason to be. The paperwork must be thorough. No exceptions.
This is the job of a lifetime, in a world where immigration rules are tightening and overseas work is becoming harder and harder, and Visas are becoming more and more expensive. The UK Visa is the most expensive in the world, hence why only the best candidates will be offered work.
