Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Senior Sommelier & Wine Educator to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with extensive expertise in viticulture, oenology, and wine service to lead our online wine education programs and curate exceptional virtual wine experiences. As a remote-first position, you will leverage digital platforms to connect with a global audience, delivering engaging wine tasting sessions, masterclasses, and educational content. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive wine courses, from introductory levels to advanced specialization, ensuring accuracy, engagement, and a delightful learning journey for our customers.

- Curate and manage the company's virtual wine portfolio, including selection, tasting notes, and pairing suggestions.
- Create high-quality educational content, including articles, videos, and interactive modules.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers seeking to enhance their wine knowledge and collection.
- Stay updated on global wine trends, emerging regions, and new vintages.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote online courses and wine offerings.
- Build and nurture a community of wine enthusiasts through online forums and social media engagement.
- Conduct virtual wine training for industry partners and corporate clients.
- Maintain meticulous records of wine inventory, tasting notes, and customer feedback.
- Advanced sommelier certification (e.g., WSET Level 4 Diploma, Master Sommelier) is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wine education, sommelier roles, or wine writing.
- Exceptional knowledge of international wines, regions, grape varietals, and production methods.
- Proven ability to create compelling and informative educational content for diverse audiences.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills, adapted for online delivery.
- Proficiency in using virtual conferencing and e-learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Moodle).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A passion for sharing wine knowledge and fostering a love for wine.
- Experience with digital marketing and social media management is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
