Key Responsibilities
NC Programming & Operation
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD.
Set up and operate CNC woodworking machines (routers, mills, lathes, etc.).
Select tools, feeds, and speeds appropriate for woodworking materials.
Design & Toolpath Development
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to develop machining strategies.
Generate accurate toolpaths and simulate machining processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with design teams to refine models for manufacturability.
Production & Quality Control
Monitor machining processes to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
Inspect finished products using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, templates).
Troubleshoot and resolve machining or programming issues.
Maintenance & Safety
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure tools are in proper working condition.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Document processes, setups, and production data for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer in woodworking or related field.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Fusion 360.
Knowledge of woodworking materials (MDF, hardwood, plywood, laminates, etc.) and cutting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Experience in CAM programming, G-code generation, and CNC setup.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CNC routers and nesting software.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process optimization.
Understanding of finishing techniques (sanding, edging, polishing).
Education & Experience
Diploma/Certificate in CNC Machining, Wood Technology, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in CNC woodworking operations and programming.

We are a bespoke manufacturing company based in Little Horwood Milton Keynes, we manufacture Bespoke kitchens, bedroom furniture, media wall etc for the residential market and we also manufacture bespoke furniture for the corporate market such as boardroom tables, reception desks, break out areas and media walls.
We have many year’s experience in the manufacturing industry and we pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship and customer service.
We are currently looking for an experienced cabinet maker to join our team
The successful candidate must have a min of 10 years bench experience, able to use power tools and hand tools competently along with knowledge and experience of using panel saws, overhead routers planer/thicknesser, experience using edgebanding machines an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given
The successful candidate must be able to read and work from working drawings, be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own using their own initiative.

- A full driving licence li>Fluent in English

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and layout plans to understand project requirements.
- Select appropriate materials such as timber, laminates, and hardware for cabinet construction.
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood and composite materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Install cabinetry and fittings into caravan interiors with precision and attention to detail.
- Apply finishing techniques including sanding, staining, sealing, and edge banding to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets design specifications and production standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., electrical, plumbing, upholstery) to ensure seamless integration of components.
