Responsibilities
  • Establish an overall approach to data organization and analytical solutions inclusive of data architecture, managing taxonomies, warehousing tech and AI capabilities.
  • Translate strategic goals into technical projects.
  • Oversee the design, management, and application of Choreograph and third-party solutions for data assimilation, enrichment and analytics for delivering data sets and insights for strategic planning & activation.
  • Advanced knowledge of data governance practices including data QA, general media naming taxonomy, data & platform integration, etc.
  • Robust knowledge of data management solutions in the markets.
  • Strong math or statistics background, specifically strong grasp of descriptive and probabilistic theories, sampling.

  • Establish a reliable Data Science workflow – clear guard-rails, templates, and documentation across the full project lifecycle

Data Science Manager

Up to £120,000

A leading e-commerce brand in the circular economy space is seeking a hands-on Data Science Manager to scale its pricing and optimisation capabilities across UK and US markets.

The business is committed to sustainability and innovation, operating across direct-to-consumer, marketplace, and B2B channels. With a strong technology backbone and global reach, they’re on a mission to reinvent how pre-owned products are bought and sold.

This is a role, balancing individual contribution with team leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead data science projects focused on pricing optimisation and revenue management.
  • Manage and mentor a small international team of data scientists (UK and US based).
  • Build statistical and machine learning models to enhance customer value and business outcomes.
  • Develop and run rigorous experimentation frameworks (A/B, MAB, causal inference).
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and commercial teams to deliver real-world impact.
  • Lead data strategy for pricing across inbound and outbound flows.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven data science experience, ideally focused on pricing and revenue optimisation.
  • Proven leadership in growing and mentoring data teams.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in statistical techniques such as GLMs, classification, survival models, forecasting, and optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience with experimentation and causal inference.
  • Strong MLOps knowledge and experience deploying models into production environments using CI/CD.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau, and communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences.
