About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Planned Heating and Renewables Electrical Engineer to join our team.

The role plays a vital role in carrying out wiring and fault finding of Gas and Renewable Heating (including new boiler external controls wiring and installations) are carried out effectively and efficiently to a satisfactory standard and in line with regulations.

Some of the main duties of the role will include:

  • To carry outwiring and fault finding of Gas and Renewable Heating systems (including new boiler external controls wiring and installations, Combi boiler, S & Y plan heating systems).
  • To provide emergency cover for other Electrical related repairs and installations works across responsive repairs, empty homes and planned works (including Aids and Adaptations)
  • To deal with tenant enquiries, to ensure works are completed to a high standard and in line with regulations to maximise first time fix and reduce call backs and service complaints.
  • To be involved in the call out rota in providing out of hours service to our residents on a rotational basis.

About You

The successful candidate will be proactive, motivated and enthusiastic in providing an excellent service and able to use their own initiative on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be confident in their ability to problem solve with the ability to fault find with an extensive level of knowledge on Gas and Renewable systems including Air Source Heat Pumps.

We are looking for someone that is fully qualified and has:

  • City and Guilds Electrical Installations NVQ Level 3 2357.
  • City and Guilds 5357 including AM2S apprenticeship.
  • City and Guilds 2360 - Part 1 and Part 2.
  • City and Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3.
  • City and Guilds 2382 (18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations).
  • AM2 depending on qualification period.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and testing - Desirable
  • Renewable heating qualifications, including ASHP, UHWS, accredited qualifications to BPEC level or equivalent is desirable.

A driving licence is an essential requirement of this role as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk is required.

The Role

In your role as a Systems Performance Engineer, you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by:

Parker Prestige are recruiting a Vehicle Technician to work in our service dept in Richmond, North Yorkshire. We sell prestige used cars, and offer prestige customer service, so our technicians need to reflect our core values whilst delivering the care and attention to detail we expect.

Reporting to the After Sales Manager you will be working in a well equipped facility preparing Parker Prestige cars for our retail customers and providing a high level of service. Experience of working with prestige vehicles isn’t necessary however a keen eye for detail is. You'll also need:
-Experience of working with a main dealer or an independent garage as a Technician
-A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
-A proven ability to carry out basic electrical and mechanical repairs
-A full Driving Licence
-Your own full set of Tools

As a Vehicle Technician you will be a key member of our team, responsible for preparing and maintaining vehicles to the high standards our customers expect. You will need to follow our policies and procedures and will be expected to carry out inspections, repairs and services whilst delivering an outstanding customer experience at all times.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience of £35,000 per annum, pension scheme, 21 days holiday, achievable bonus structure and tool insurance.

Location: Shoebury Essex, but across South Essex

Working Hours: Shifts based on a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week. Plus, overtime and possible nights out for additional earnings.

Salary: £40,560 per annum (£780 per week + overtime + nights out)

Salary with ADR: £42,960 per annum (£780 per week + overtime + nights out)

The Role – HGV Cover Driver:

* This HGV Cover Driver role involves working directly for our customers, on contract.
* Our client will be your point of contact for all operational and trailer issues. Any vehicle or other work-related issues are dealt by us directly.
* We give training where necessary to familiarise you with the role and bed you into the job.
* These HGV roles are independent and are ideal for driver’s that like to think for themselves.
* ADR deliveries will be a part of this job, so applicants who already hold their ADR license will be prioritised. An ADR licence is required for this role, though we will provide training to the right candidates.

This HGV Cover Driver role involves being flexible to cover Class 1 or Class 2 as required, this role involves a range of tasks which could include trailer swaps, RDC’s and multidrop work. All loads must be safely strapped and secured in line with company & legal requirements. Any delays or issues must be communicated promptly to the customer to maintain service standards.

Essential skills and qualifications:

* Must be keen, efficient and have sound safe working practices.
* A valid HGV license.
* A valid Digital tacho.
* Up to date CPC Card.
* A current ADR license preferable, all classes except 1&7
