The position of Trade Account Manager is responsible for building upon both existing and new relationships with key trade customers. They will also develop strong working relationships with current and new suppliers / manufacturers.  They will be responsible for the growth of trade sales by managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success. They will achieve this growth by developing positive customer relationships by getting a deep understanding their needs and providing  tailored product recommendations and advising on promotions and details of our services.
  
The Trade Account Manager will generate sales and work to targets by using existing and potential customer networks. They will also be responsible for maintaining budgeted margins, working closely with our Commercial Analysts. They will develop an excellent understanding of marketing and business development processes and have an ability to influence and adapt quickly to different situations and personalities. They will deliver the highest level of customer service across all channels and will have exceptional product knowledge and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Contacting our existing customer base to generate new sales leads
 - Identify new target clients and revenue opportunities and manage their requests, providing excellent customer service
 - Develop and maintain successful business relationships with clients on the telephone and email to build loyalty and increase repeat business
 - Researching and identifying potential new customers
 - Obtaining feedback from our customers to establish any gaps in our product range
 - Help promote the company through a positive attitude and engaging with the customers
 - Liaising with suppliers, as required, to fulfil customer orders
