Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an Agile PM/Delivery Lead for an initial 12 month contract with option to extend on a rate of £425-£475/day (Outside IR35). This role will be based in Edinburgh - However, attendance at the project site will only be required on an as-needed basis, aligned with key project milestones, workshops, or stakeholder engagements.


Responsibilities:


- Schedule management and high-level change control (scope management)

- Risk, Issue, Assumption and Dependency management

- Supplier management

- Negotiating and unblocking

- Compliance within house LOAD delivery methodology

- Project reporting

- Target delivery


Essential Skills:


- Strong project management skills previously deployed in agile projects – schedule management, risk management, reporting

- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills

- Demonstrable experience of delivering measurable business value

- Have experience managing both agile and traditional projects, incorporating both software delivery and the associated business change.

- Have an awareness of Digital First Service Standards, and Government Digital Services (GDS).
