We are currently looking for a proactive and technically skilled Architectural Technician to support the delivery of an innovative and world-class aviation project. You’ll play a key role in bringing ideas to life whilst ensuring every design meets regulatory standards and is built to last.

What You’ll Be Doing

Technical Drawings & Documentation

Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit

Develop construction packages, schedules, and specifications

Ensure full compliance with current building regulations and codes

Design Development

Translate conceptual designs into buildable solutions

Resolve technical detailing in collaboration with architects and consultants

Regulatory Compliance

Apply current building regs and planning policies

Site & Construction Support

Respond to RFIs and clarify design intent during build phase

Quality & Sustainability

Ensure accurate records and document control

Apply sustainable and cost-effective design principles

Team Contribution & Collaboration

Support the day-to-day studio operations

Contribute to team meetings and project discussions

A friendly, boutique-sized practice is looking for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their team. You’ll be working on contemporary high-end residential refurbishments and new builds for private clients and developers in London’s most exclusive postcodes.

The Role

• Work on prime London projects (£1m– m)
• Produce detailed technical drawing packages (Vectorworks)
• Prepare tender info & construction docs (drawings + NBS)
• Develop detailed + technical designs for new builds & refurbishments
• Focus on all things technical, supporting the wider design team
• Report directly to Directors

Architect / Architectural Technician

Contract Role : Immediate Requirement

Our client is a London-based studio renowned for blending design innovation with social and environmental responsibility. The firm gained international acclaim as the visionary force behind it's iconic designs, and has continued to push boundaries with projects that elevate public experience and civic identity. With over 130 awards to their name, the practice is celebrated for its commitment to sustainability, technical ingenuity, and poetic spatial storytelling.
They now have a rare contract opportunity for a technically skilled individual to join them in a short term role. This will be working on RIBA Stage 4, tender documentation for an education refurbishment project. You will be responsible for producing a range of drawing packages for internals and mainly bespoke joinery detailing and they are happy to consider any level of qualification provided that you have the relevant experience and excellent Revit skills.
