What You'll Do
As a Manager within BCG's Public Sector Practice Area for Defence & Security, you will work in a growing global team, providing industry and functional expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.Additionally, you will support your sector in developing existing & new intellectual property and knowledge assets. You will work on commercialization efforts for the topic/sector, in conjunction with business leaders, supporting marketing efforts, conferences and publications. As a Manager you will assist with training and guiding junior colleagues and share best practices within the team.
Your work within our Defence & Security topic will primarily focus on supporting our engagement with UK and EU defence ministry clients, providing expertise and insights on defence and security-related topics including Acquisition/Capability Management, Digital Technologies and Innovation, and Organisational Design and Skills.

* Strong knowledge of European (UK preferred) defence enterprise required; prior military or civilian service in the UK Ministry of Defence strongly preferred
* Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)

What You'll Do
As a Senior Manager – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Risk & Compliance (R&C) Practice Area (PA), you will deliver against client and commercial priorities for Non-Financial Risk Management ('Topic'). Part of the role is acting in a consulting capacity to case teams and the remainder managing assets, IP, tools and team processes. You will grow and deploy a team of experts to directly support client case work, content development and business build initiatives. You will drive the Intellectual Property (IP)/content agenda for your topic, including the building of technical tools, with support from internal information technology colleagues. As a Senior Manager – BCG Vantage, you will engage with case teams & clients based on your individual expertise and demonstrate differentiated impact and value-add to BCG clients and case teams.
As a Non-Financial Risk Management expert, you will be familiar with risks that can significantly impact on an organisation’s resilience, reputation, and long-term value. You will be comfortable with, and able to flex between, the following risks: Strategic Risk (risks related to flawed strategies, geo-politics, security or poor decision-making), Operational Risk (failures in internal processes, systems, or human errors, including Third-Party & Outsourcing Risk (dependency on vendors and suppliers)) and Compliance & Regulatory Risk (breaches of laws, regulations, or internal policies). You will understand how risk management and compliance functions are organisied and the management information approach to report on risks to risk committees. We are seeking a strategic Business Strategy and Performance Manager with strong analytical skills to play a key role in advancing our Grassroots Strategy. This role will provide quality strategic support across key Grassroots programmes, while also supporting on performance monitoring and reporting for the division.

What will you be doing?

Strategy:

  • Lead the strategy development of key football programmes, working with the subject matter experts across the Grassroots division, wider FA and County FAs to ensure they are effectively scoped, planned and collaboratively delivered.
  • Lead on the implementation plans for new strategies, working with policy leads to ensure they are appropriately embedded within the operational plans for the Grassroots division and that we are driving forward progress on a day-to-day basis.

Performance Management:

  • Support on all reporting for the Grassroots Division including FA Game Changers, our Grassroots Strategy KPIs and County FA KPIs

**Your Career**
The role of Consulting Director in Unit 42 is a senior-level consulting position. The individual will be responsible for the day to day delivery of our threat-led and technology driven cyber security consulting services through leading and directly overseeing a team of Consultants. This person will have experience in developing teams and working with sales and domain leaders.
The Consulting Director will work with a dedicated Regional Business Development Manager (BDM) and Customer Success Manager (CSM) to deliver pitches and prepare proposals to win new business and manage client relationships.

**Your Impact**
+ Oversee the delivery of our proactive consulting services, ensuring their consistency, quality and highest level of customer service
+ Provide hands-on, expert-level proactive Security Operations Center (SOC) assessment and transformation services to clients and deliver findings to CxO and/or Board of Directors
+ Work with the BDM and CSM to perform pipeline generation activities

+ Manage the productivity of a team through attainment of utilisation targets

**Your Experience**
+ 10+ years of hands-on experience delivering a wide range of cybersecurity consulting services, including at least 4 of the following 8 for global enterprise customers
+ Security operations (highly preferred for this position)

+ Cybersecurity risk assessments
+ Cybersecurity strategy & transformations
