**How will you make an impact in this role?**
As a Senior Analyst on the Global Brand Management (GBM) team, you will play a key role in driving marketing excellence for our brand, helping to drive brand consistency and excellence across all touchpoints and markets to ensure that our brand remains relevant, distinctive, and trusted by our customers. You will work closely with marketing creators and cross-functional partners (i.e. Compliance, Legal) to ensure that our marketing partners are equipped with the knowledge and resources to deliver creative that meets our global brand standards.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as a brand consultant, expert, and steward of the American Express brand.
+ Review high-visibility marketing assets to ensure compliance with the global brand standard. Provide timely feedback and suggestions for updates within the designated timeline.
+ Partner with the Brand Managers on the team to deliver presentations and workshops to train marketers and agencies on the Amex brand and guidelines.
+ Continuously review and innovate on the existing marketing review processes, tools, and resources to help drive efficiency, clarity, and improve marketer engagement.

Reporting directly to the CMO, we’re looking for a Director, Product Marketing to set-up and own our product marketing function.
The role will directly shape the evolution of our go-to-market strategy, translating product innovation into market demand and revenue growth. It will drive alignment between Product, Commercial, and Marketing teams to optimise product launches, enhance adoption, and strengthen customer retention. Main Responsibilities
- Owning the product positioning and messaging, and tailoring these for each ICP market, geography, vertical and persona.
- Working with our Product Team to craft the product story internally and get company-wide alignment on how we talk about each product and service and ensuring we neither over - nor under-sell.
- Enabling our Commercial teams to successfully market and sell our products and services through internal training sessions, and by equipping them with high quality sales and customer aids (incl product sheets with features & benefits, battle cards, sales scripts, competitor comparisons, pricing, FAQs).
- Collaborating with Product and Commercial leadership on the product marketing roadmap and leading the messaging for launches, new feature releases and enhancements for both our technology products and advisory services – as well as for the integration of new products and services through acquisitions.
- Collaborating with Product and Commercial leadership on the product and services pages on our website and working with our digital leads and agencies to optimise and refine the pages’ performance and trial new tactics to drive demand (i.e. interactive web demos, self-serve trials etc.).

- Define and maintain positioning frameworks, personas, and messaging guides aligned to audience needs, product capabilities, and commercial goals.
- Leverage customer insight, market intelligence, and competitor analysis to guide product marketing and influence the product roadmap.
Go-to-Market Leadership
- Lead go-to-market planning for product launches and key feature enhancements-including messaging, sales readiness, launch planning, and success metrics.
- Work cross-functionally with Central Marketing, Product, and Field teams to ensure coordinated global execution.
- Contribute to strategic roadmap conversations by bringing a market-facing perspective and identifying emerging customer needs or opportunities.
Sales Enablement
- Develop and maintain sales enablement tools including messaging guides, persona briefs, pitch decks, objection handling, and competitive insights.
- Equip sales and field marketing teams with clear narratives and assets that support every stage of the customer journey.
- Deliver updates for Sales, Customer Success, and Field Marketing to ensure alignment and consistency in the field.
Performance & Optimisation
- Set and track KPIs related to product marketing impact (e.g. messaging adoption, lead quality, campaign ROI, market penetration).
- Use performance data, customer feedback, and market signals to adjust and refine messaging and strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and reinforce the role of Product Marketing as a growth engine.
Experience & Skills
- Previous B2B product marketing experience , ideally in academic publishing, healthcare, life sciences, or SaaS.
- Strong track record in developing strategic product positioning, GTM plans, and customer-facing messaging .
- Proven ability to craft value narratives that connect with institutional decision-makers across regions.
- Experienced working across global, matrixed organisations with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communicator, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and bringing structure to complex marketing challenges.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, DOMO, and Marketo a plus.
- Prior experience supporting health librarians, researchers, or clinicians is a strong advantage.
