Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in customer care and all production aspects covering the range of assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Experience in open source and social media research, or investigations, typically obtained in 2-3 years; ability to connect the dots;
  • Written and spoken proficiency in a second language is preferred;
  • Creativity in leveraging internet search techniques and methods;
  • Ability to determine the credibility, value, significance, and relevancy of information from different data sources to produce clear, concise, and timely analytical products;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable with providing briefings and presentations. 
  • Experience producing short and long form reports, applying BLUF or similar models;
  • Comfort working independently and in teams; 
  • Experience with some of the following: Social Media Platforms, blogs, IRC, Deep / Darkweb ,and message boards;
  • Ability to collect, authenticate, validate and document online evidence;
  • Proficient with at least one online investigative tool, such as Whois, Ping, Traceroute, etc;
  • Proficient in Google Suite of programs;

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in briefing decision-makers and senior leaders;
  • High degree of knowledge of Social Media Platforms, blogs, IRC, message boards, Deep/Darkweb;

  • Possession of excellent project/team leadership, development, and client relationship skills;

Our client is a leading cybersecurity firm seeking an accomplished Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst for a fully remote position. You will be responsible for proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating sophisticated cyber threats targeting organisations globally. This role requires a deep understanding of the threat landscape, attacker methodologies, and security technologies. Your key responsibilities will include collecting and analysing threat data from various sources, developing threat models, and producing actionable intelligence reports for stakeholders at all levels. You will also play a vital role in hunting for emerging threats, conducting malware analysis, and providing expert guidance on incident response and defensive strategies. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in threat intelligence, cybersecurity operations, or related fields, with a proven ability to research and interpret complex technical information. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to articulate technical findings clearly and concisely. Experience with various threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and data analysis techniques is highly desirable. This is a critical role where you will contribute directly to enhancing the security posture of numerous organisations, helping them to stay ahead of evolving cyber adversaries.
