We work with large amounts of novel data and provide insights that help deliver billions of packages to customers every year. We focus on everything from high-level to granular data and insight generation, primarily supporting the Fleet planning teams automation and operational excellence projects / data asset development.
The GFP Fleet planning and Capacity team is looking for a customer obsessed Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to shape how we use data to develop high efficiency Fleet planning tools, in the Last Mile space. As a BIE on the FPAC team, you will develop and lead new technical solutions that supports critical process improvement automations.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a diligent time/project manager, strong communicator, and problem solver extraordinaire. You'll work on large, complex initiatives with a high degree of ambiguity, and you'll also advocate on behalf of customers. Great candidates will use data and analytic engineering to drive changes across multiple organizations.
This role is located out of Luxembourg.
In this position you will:
- Engineer critical input and output metrics
- Create performance metrics to measure operational performance, identify root causes and trends, and prescribe action plans for delivery stations around the globe
- Manage metrics across multiple projects simultaneously
- Work with product, technology, and analytics teams to support the development of tools and dashboards
- Communicate with and support various internal stakeholders and external audiences
- Learn, explore, apply, and gain expertise in many internal Amazon data and public AWS products including Glue, Redshift, Quicksight, and Lambda
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab

We are seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) for our Prime Video Store business across Europe. As BIE you will work closely with our business and finance teams building statistical or machine learning models that drive performance improvements for the business. Key focus areas will be customer insights and engagement as well as overall process optimization. You will act as a consultant to the business surfacing deep insights, providing easy to use tools for analysis and reporting as well as generating actionable learnings for the team. Data-driven decision-making is at the core of Amazon's culture and this role will have a direct impact on the decisions and strategy of the Prime Video Store across multiple territories in Europe.
The role can be based in Munich or London.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with Marketing, Vendor Management, Content Acquisition Management and leadership to identify data needs and requirements
- Build mechanisms to surface knowledge and learnings about to the business
- Set up and maintain self-service infrastructure (e.g. dashboards) for the team in Tableau and other data tools
- Generate and present concrete and actionable insights and recommendations for leadership based on sound methodological analysis
- Proactively create new metrics that represent key inputs/outputs of the business

As a BI Engineer working on the PV Growth and Commerce Analytics team, you will be working closely with Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Content Acquisitions Managers, Finance Managers and other internal stakeholders to drive analytics that are timely, accurate, and actionable. The EU XCM Media Team (Cross-Category, Cross-Channel, Cross-Country Marketing) is looking for a Media Operations and Business Intelligence Manager, with a strong background of media planning, budget management and campaign measurement. The ideal candidate will also bring knowledge of media tech and tools solutions to enable the organization to automate and standardize media planning processes.
You will be contributing to the long-term product vision of the EU XCM Media Team by supporting multiple functional areas of cross-channel media planning including buying, finance, campaign reporting and measurement. You will be responsible for reoccurring governance, validation and audit exercises of existing solutions. You will work closely with global measurement team, external agency partners and service providers to develop, standardize and optimize data pipelines and operational parameters that can be applied consistently across 12+ European countries while capturing local nuances. You will collaborate with our tech & tools team on the development of automated processes in order to simplify media analytic and financial reporting processes (e.g. budget tracking dashboard and visualization tools) across Europe.
You will work with the Media BI Manager and Media Managers to gather inputs and manage the reporting of various initiatives (such as business reviews, budget reporting, econometric reports) back to the wider business. To be successful in this role, you will have a background in ATL media, media analytics and operations or large-scale performance marketing, and apply this to develop processes and tools that turn complex workflows into simple, delightful customer experiences. You have a mix of strategic vision and hands-on project management skills, and are comfortable embracing ambiguity. Your ability to quickly understand the business context and priorities, together with your analytical, creative and problem-solving mind, will lead you to deliver against tangible business metrics. You have excellent written & verbal communication skills and are able to juggle multiple priorities at the same time. - Automate: Identify opportunities to standardize, off-shore or automate tasks to save time and eliminate inefficient processes.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Media Planning, Measurement & Research, Business Intelligence, and Finance to ensure alignment, streamline processes, and drive results.
- Technology implementation: Evaluate, recommend, and implement marketing technologies and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and enable marketing success.
- Partner with external auditors to monitor media buying performance and report back results to the wider team and stakeholders as well as identify opportunities to improve media buying efficiency.
- Build trustworthy relationships with internal finance teams, media and measurement agency partners, and research department.
- Mine and synthesize media planning research, media budget management and business insights.
- Partner with our external media agency, internal and external measurement partners across Europe and US central team, aligning measurement project and supporting data collection, acquisition and validation.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years relevant professional experience in media planning, media finance or media buying.
- Have experience in media research, insights or data analytics.
- Robust technical knowledge of media buying and reporting systems.
- Solid understanding of UK or DE media landscape. Experience in more than one local would be beneficial but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams (e.g. Measurement, Analytics, Media, Finance) and external partners (e.g. Media Agency).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
- English language skills required (business fluent).
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Based in our Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) headquarters in Watford, you will be part of a cohort of 50 Interns and take part in regular connect meetings and feedback sessions designed to support your development. Step into a pivotal role supporting Hiltonu2019s Global Safety & Security team and regional directors in safeguarding one of the worldu2019s most iconic hospitality brands. This 12-month placement offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the protection of Hiltonu2019s guests, team members, assets, and reputation across our owned, managed, and franchised properties.

Support in a **Data Management & Analysis** capacity across key areas:
Occupational Health & Safety. Food Safety & Fire Safety. Security & Crisis Management. Trading Standards & Public Health. Team Member Housing (where applicable). Disability Compliance.

Collaborate on global safety and security projects, using your analytical insights to support operational decisions, assessments, and forecasting for high-risk areas across hotels and corporate offices. Analyse accident and claim data, insurance reports, guest assistance records, and vendor incident logs to inform mitigation strategies.

**What are we looking for?**
A strong sense of alignment to our culture and values. A current Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s student with a required 12-month year in industry placement as part of your degree. A Social, Political, Policy Sciences, Criminology & Security Studies, Security with Intelligence Analysis, Risk & Security Management, Safety & Risk Management, Food Safety Management, Health, Safety & Fire Safety Management or related degree is preferred. Availability to start 13th of July 2026, full-time, for a 12-month placement. Eligibility to work in the UK. If you are a non-UK national, without EU Settled or Pre-Settled Status then you will need to be studying at a UK university to be eligible to undertake a placement here. Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing). Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Ability to identify potential threats and propose solutions. Data Analysis: Comfortable working with incident reports, accident statistics, and insurance claims to spot trends and vulnerabilities. Knowledge of Safety Standards: Familiarity with regulations like ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), HACCP (Food Safety), and fire safety codes. Security Principles: Understanding of physical and digital security protocols, access control, and surveillance systems. Incident Reporting Tools: Experience with platforms like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or safety management systems. Project Management: Supporting safety initiatives and tracking progress. Crisis Management Awareness: Understanding business continuity planning and emergency response. Ethical Judgement: Handling sensitive data and decisions with integrity.
