We are seeking and experienced Business Analyst to join a fast paced and growing Fin-tech organisation who are in the greenfield stage of a major transformation programme.

You will be a key player in delivering a global payment platform at pace to enable pre-paid card services. As a Business Analyst you will support the Product & Technology team by providing detailed artifacts, to ensure the agile team has a thorough understanding of the product owner's perspective and can efficiently develop and deliver valuable features and how they interact with the back-end delivery domains/squads.

• Break down large features into smaller, manageable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Ensure user acceptance by collaborating with stakeholders, defining measurable outcomes, and ensuring clear communication.
• Document and ensure non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security, scalability) are captured.
• Create visual representations of requirements (flowcharts, data flow diagrams, use case diagrams).

About the Role:

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements with a focus on mobile banking applications and digital experiences.
li>Documentation: Prepare clear and detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), Use Cases, and Mobile App User Stories.
• Mobile & Banking Expertise: Understand and bridge both core banking systems and mobile platforms, covering features such as onboarding, authentication, transactions, payments, alerts, KYC, and mobile security.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between business units, UX/UI teams, mobile development teams (iOS/Android), QA, and IT to ensure alignment of mobile solutions with business needs.
• Solution Design: Participate in solution discussions, user journey mapping, gap analysis, and process re-engineering to improve customer experience on mobile apps.
• Agile Participation: Work in Agile or hybrid delivery models, contributing to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and mobile app UAT support.
• Testing & Validation: Assist in designing mobile-specific test cases, conduct mobile UI/UX validations, support UAT execution, and help validate app functionality against business objectives.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to UK-specific financial regulations such as FCA, PSD2, Open Banking, APP Scam Codes, and GDPR, especially where customer data and transactional services are involved.

In order to produce the business case, a plan has been produced to engage stakeholders and gather user needs under a tight timeframe. Business Analyst support is essential for this.

2. Objectives

· Get up-to-speed on the project and what is required, including reviewing background documents and getting an overview from the relevant functional leads.

· Stakeholder mapping & prioritization - Identify key stakeholders for each function and prioritize consultation based on their roles and needs. Pay attention to who is not at the table and invite them or have them in mind as the group prioritises.

· Develop process and materials to gather and prioritise user stories with the relevant stakeholders, including development of presentations, surveys, ranking tools and discussion guides that can be tailored by each stakeholder group (caucus).

· Support and document the gathering of user stories in collaboration with functional (caucus) leads

· Analyse feedback - review and consolidate collected data from consultations, identifying common and unique priorities, themes, and contrasts.

· Support the documentation of relevant process flows in collaboration with TBS workstream leads

· Compile a report summarizing stakeholder feedback from caucuses and recommendations for the MVP development

A Business Analyst with experience of, process modelling, gathering, articulating and analysing user stories and process flows.

• Process Analysis: You'll be the expert in documenting existing "As Is" processes in HR and Finance and working with stakeholders to define and implement new, more efficient "To Be" processes.
• Discovery & Design: Lead and run workshop discovery sessions to understand business needs and document new solution designs.
• Documentation & Training: Create high-quality process documentation, including process flows and RACI charts. You'll also develop and deliver training materials to ensure a smooth transition for all users.
• Project Leadership: You'll be responsible for planning the implementation of new processes and providing support to the business throughout the transition phase.

• Experience: You should have approximately 10 years of experience in implementing business and system process improvements, with at least 5 years working with or configuring HR or Finance systems.
• Leadership: You must have held a managerial position, demonstrating your ability to lead and execute key processes.
• Skills: You are an expert in presentation and communication, with a proven ability to present to stakeholders and use MS Office products effectively.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in professional services.
• Background in Legal Services or Consultancy is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships.
• Familiarity with business process modelling, requirements gathering techniques, and agile delivery methods.

• Analyse business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement.
