Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect that designs a company’s IT structure to ensure it aligns well with the business’ organizational structure and processes. The main duties will be to act as lead consultant for technology when engaging with senior stakeholders across the business, producing enterprise architecture artefacts as required to model and document the business area being supported, developing ways to integrate the business’ IT systems, creating and implementing enterprise architecture models, briefing and working alongside Solution Architects to ensure seamless working practices, defining and documenting infrastructure solutions, and suggesting improvements to current internal functions and IT processes.
Essential Criteria
• IT and Enterprise Architecture (EA) skills, including leadership of strategic directions/roadmaps for Enterprise scale platforms/capabilities.
• Experience of driving, delivering, and assuring technology change against a background of organisational transformation.
• Strategic engagements with stakeholders, with evidence of setting IT strategy, influencing business customers and taking a lead role to enable both IT and business change.
• Knowledge of enterprise-wide IT applications, including making use of enterprise cloud platforms – IaaS, SaaS and PaaS specifically on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft technologies
• Past experience of engaging with external partners, contractors, vendors to ensure the successful implementation of architectural solutions
• Strong knowledge of data design principles, modelling techniques and experience of leading the design and implementation of data architecture strategy, directing evaluation of strategies and policies to ensure business requirements are being met
• Proficient in Agile Architecture/GDS Delivery Ways of Working by having implemented and promoted agile architecture and Government Digital Service (GDS) delivery methods to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
• Ability to ensure compliance with authority architecture principles, standards, patterns, and guardrails.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)
• Certification in at least one enterprise architecture framework like TOGAF, Zachman, etc and Microsoft cloud certifications
• Proven experience of 3+ years as Enterprise Architect preferably in UK Public sector and operating in large, complex organizations
• Knowledge of agile and GDS delivery practices
• Strong understanding of integration and security technologies.
• Previous experience in data management and cloud-based architecture.
• Familiarity with development and architecture tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).

_Be the Identity & Security Visionary for Diageo_
We're seeking a passionate Enterprise Architect to join our Security & Network Enterprise Architecture team. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Identity Management across Diageo, including outside partners, customers, and consumers. Additionally, you'll apply your expertise to supply to the broader cybersecurity strategy. The role is split roughly 80/20 between Identity and Security domains, with the specific focus adapting to business needs.
**What You'll Do:**
+ **Strategize the Future:** Translate business goals into a robust architecture for IAM and cybersecurity.
+ **_Champion Strategic Vision:_** Partner with customers to define Diageo's vision and capabilities in Identity and Access Management. Develop a 3-5 year roadmap to leverage technology for secure, streamlined access to critical assets, while prioritizing user experience.
+ **_Architect of Change:_** Design target and interim architectures, assess current capabilities, and guide technology selection for future needs.

**Technical Expertise:**
+ Minimum 5 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or a similar role. Experience and expertise in developing capability models, reference architecture and technology roadmap artefacts.
+ In-depth knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles and frameworks, Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance and B2B / B2C Identity & Access Management
+ Experience with cybersecurity standard methodologies and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF).
+ Understanding of risk management and security concepts
+ Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) is a plus.
+ Familiarity with relevant IAM and security solutions and technologies.
+ Experience working in a large and complex enterprise environment is a plus.
+ Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA) are a plus.
