You will lead the design of complex cloud infrastructures, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security components, ensuring they align with enterprise architecture principles and business goals.

Key responsibilities include developing migration strategies for on-premises applications to the cloud, designing disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. You will also be involved in cost optimization initiatives, identifying opportunities to reduce cloud spend without compromising service levels. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of microservices architecture, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for mentoring junior team members and presenting technical solutions to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud architectures on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Develop cloud migration strategies and lead the execution of migration projects.
  • Define and enforce cloud governance, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for automated provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Optimize cloud costs through effective resource management and architecture design.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and architects.
  • Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance existing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and design.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and database services.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
  • Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD best practices.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
