What you’ll be doing:
- Support to all contract activity including the drafting and negotiation of complex terms and conditions and associated agreements with customers ensuring the interests of BAE Systems
- Responsible for all contract aspects of business winning

- Responsible for delivery of commercial interface with Procurement and flow-down of commercial contract requirements

- Contract interface with domestic and international customers
Your skills and experiences:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant subject, e.g. Law, or evidence of relevant experience
- Proven experience in commercial management within a major project or complex programme environment
- Skilled in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts and associated agreements with domestic and international customers.
- Strong understanding of bid management processes and experience supporting business-winning activities
- Knowledge of commercial governance frameworks and processes, including Request for Bid Approval
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Finance, Estimating, and Project Management

The Opportunity
In this senior role, you’ll oversee all commercial and contractual functions across a portfolio of energy-efficiency and renewable projects. You’ll lead a team of commercial professionals, manage risk and profitability, and act as the key link between project delivery and senior leadership.
This position suits someone with strong Quantity Surveying expertise who enjoys working in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial oversight of multiple retrofit and renewable projects

Key ResponsibilitiesAs Commercial Manager, you will:
- Lead on delivering our commercial strategy, shaping product mix, pricing, and propositions.
- Act as the key point of contact for broadband providers, managing day-to-day relationships.
- Negotiate and secure market leading deals, presenting commercial proposals and performance insights.
- Commercial creativity. Spotting commercial growth opportunities and bringing them back to the team to explore and implement.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to improve offers, customer journeys, and revenue performance.
- Own client performance reporting, including analysis of CPAs, conversion rates, and market trends.
- Support financial processes, including P&L input, reconciliation, and revenue tracking.
- Manage and mentor junior team members while representing the Broadband Genie brand externally.
We're seeking someone who brings a strong mix of commercial acumen, relationship management, and analytical skills.
Essential Experience- Able to demonstrate strong experience in commercial, partnerships, or account management roles.
- Integrated into the affiliate industry with a demonstrable passion for it.
- Proven track record of negotiating deals and hitting revenue targets.
- Strong experience managing client relationships at a senior level.
- Hands-on experience with commercial reporting and data-driven decision making.
