What You'll Do
This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing professional to join the EMESA Compliance Team within the Global Risk function at BCG.
The Compliance team provides steering and oversight on critical compliance topics that anchor how we all support each other, our clients, and run our business – with policies, processes, and systems which we continuously improve. The team develops and implement smart capabilities, toolkits, frameworks, and trainings, to empower BCG staff to act in accordance with our Values and Code of Conduct, and to promote adherence to laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
This critical role sits at the intersection of strategic advisory, operational execution, and stakeholder engagement and will play a pivotal role in driving BCG’s compliance maturity across the region. On a day to day basis, this role will independently lead complex risk assessments, partner with senior leadership, develop regional compliance strategy, and monitor the adoption compliance guardrails. Additionally, this role will lead a variety of compliance projects to support successful outcomes and efficiencies, for topics such as, but not limited to, the clients and topics we take on, bribery and corruption, insider trading, conflicts of interest, third party risk and information management.
A successful candidate will come with intellectual agility, courage to challenge, and exceptional communication skills to influence senior stakeholders toward responsible decision-making that serves our clients, society and the broader interests of BCG.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Risk & Advisory Leadership
* Serve as a strategic advisor to the business and System Commercial Advisory process, providing nuanced guidance that balances risk mitigation with commercial realities
* Lead risk-based compliance assessments across key business areas (e.g., bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, insider trading, third-party risk) to identify gaps, and action plans to foster continuous improvement
* Proactively identify emerging risks through horizon scanning and provide actionable insights for leadership
Stakeholder Influence & Decision Enablement
* Engage senior stakeholders with credibility and conviction, enabling tough but necessary compliance decisions, when required, even when they challenge personal or business preferences
* Partner with Legal, Risk, and other cross-functional teams to ensure decisions are fully informed and aligned with BCG's global compliance priorities
* Build strong, trust-based relationships with Risk & Compliance MDP nodes across EMESA, acting as a reliable advisor and partner in decision-making
Program Execution & Guardrail Monitoring & Reporting
* Oversee the EMESA roll-out and local adaptation of global compliance initiatives
* Ensure key guardrails (policies, training, escalation processes) are embedded and adopted across systems and offices
* Work with global team to design and monitor KPIs to measure adherence and effectiveness
* Support and develop reporting to regional leadership and Global Compliance.
Training, Communication & Culture
* Develop and deliver targeted EMESA-based training and communication strategies to embed a culture of compliance; aligned and connected to with our Global Risk framework
* Synthesize complex regulatory topics into actionable, business-friendly narratives for region-wide dissemination, where required
Team Leadership
* Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and development support to more junior team members, even if not directly on your team
* Act as a role model and advocate for colleagues’ long-term growth and success

What You'll Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Advanced degree preferred
* 8–10 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, audit, risk management or related fields, or BCG experience in the consulting staff. Experience within a professional services, consulting, or global corporate environment preferred
* Proven track record of leading risk assessments, advising senior leadership, and driving process improvement
* Strong command of regulatory frameworks relevant to a multinational environment
* Comfortable with, and preferably advanced knowledge of, Microsoft Office Suite (Power point, Excel, Word), Trello, exposure to business intelligence tools: Tableau, Power BI

Who You'll Work With
You will be part of the EMESA Compliance Team reporting to the EMESA Senior Director. This team sits within a network of regional Compliance teams which report into the Global Head of Compliance and Chief Risk Officer.
In this role you will engage regularly with stakeholders and collaborators across the business: Managing Directors and Partners, Regional and System Risk and Compliance Nodes, Functional partners from Legal, Finance, Risk, External Comms, and more.
