Location: London
Salary: £55,000 + Bonus + incredible benefits package
CoCo Group is delighted to be representing a leading world-class venue in the search for an exceptional Senior Event Manager to lead operations across large-scale conferences and high-profile events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced event professional, particularly someone who has worked within associations or professional conference organisers (PCOs) , to take the reins of complex, high-value events that attract global audiences and deliver real impact.
The Role
As Senior Event Manager, you’ll oversee the successful planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of events, acting as the key point of contact for clients and ensuring an outstanding experience from concept through to completion.
You’ll manage complex operational logistics, lead and inspire a team of Event Managers, and maintain a strong commercial focus to maximise client satisfaction, revenue and rebookings. This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced, high-performing environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of flagship conferences and major events, ensuring seamless execution.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, particularly associations and PCOs.
- Drive customer satisfaction through clear communication, proactive problem solving and attention to detail.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts and post-event reconciliation, ensuring strong commercial performance.
- Mentor and develop Event Managers, fostering a collaborative, high-achieving team culture.
- Analyse event performance data to identify improvements and operational efficiencies.
The person
You’re a confident and experienced Event Manager ready to take the next step in your career. You have a proven track record in delivering large, complex events and are motivated by creating exceptional experiences for clients and delegates alike.
You’ll bring:
- At least 2 years’ senior-level event management or leadership experience within a venue or event operations environment.
- Experience managing large conferences, ideally for associations or PCO clients.
- Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong financial awareness and commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Ungerboeck) and event planning software such as AutoCAD/Revit or Monday.com
- A natural leader who can motivate, coach and inspire others.
