  • Create engaging and compelling content (text, image, video) that aligns with our brand voice and mission.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages in a timely and appropriate manner, and foster community engagement.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to increase our online presence and impact.
  • Collaborate with fundraising and communications teams to support campaign goals.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance tracking.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar.
  • Contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy of the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Excellent content creation skills, with a portfolio showcasing creative campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, and web traffic metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Passion for our cause and a commitment to making a difference.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
