My client provides an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within the Distribution and connections division. As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICP’s) in the UK, they support distribution network operations across infrastructure.
Their team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers. carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement.
Are you ready to take on the challenge of managing the delivery of HV Cabling projects in the East of England for UKPN?
As a Contracts Manager, youll oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from the initial design and development stages to the successful completion of site delivery.
What will you be doing?
Youll support the project delivery team, represent the company in client meetings, and provide commercial support.
Youll track and demonstrate progress through project stages, contribute to project governance, and assist in scoping, pricing, and creating project delivery programmes.
Compliance with procedures and legislation is key, encouraging innovation and cost-effective methods.
Working with the estimating team on tender processes is also a key part of the role.
Candidate Essentials
• 5+ years in large capital delivery programmes
• Understanding of engineering policy, procedure, and legislation
• Ability to lead a team and build client relationships
• Develop processes to improve outputs and measure success
• HV power engineering/cabling experience, HNC/Degree in Engineering, or NEBOSH Safety Management qualification preferred but not required
