This role supports the Customer Service team in achieving its goals by ensuring accurate and efficient management of Master Data, Deflator agreements, and EDI processes. The position plays a key part in enabling smooth end-to-end operations from order to invoice and invoice to cash, contributing to outstanding service delivery for both internal and external stakeholders.

- Contribute to the team's achievement of Customer Service goals.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service through accurate Master Data, Deflator, and EDI management.
- Ensure Master data and systems (SAP, EDI) are correctly set up to support Order to Invoice and Invoice to Cash processes.
- Manage Product, Customer, and Pricing Master Data, including hierarchies, SKU switches, and delists.
- Identify process changes related to Price Approval Forms, EANs, and related systems.
- Set up, test, and monitor EDI for vendors/customers, products, and invoicing.
- Manage deflator agreements in Promax and coordinate approvals and settlements with AR.
- Investigate price claims and issue credit notes.
- Execute critical SOX control processes for customer and pricing master data and month-end closing.
- Support CS Manager with business and system improvement initiatives.
- Participate in systems-related projects and regional initiatives.
- Build understanding of North West Europe retailers and marketplace.
- Train users on new systems and processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Promax, and experience in FMCG environments. A customer-focused mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
Collaboration spans across internal teams (Sales, IT, Finance, Supply Planning) and external partners (customers, 3PLs), with a hybrid working model and occasional customer visits.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with deep subject-matter expertise in data processing and reporting. In this role, you will own the reliability, performance, and operational excellence of our real-time and batch data pipelines built on AWS, Apache Flink, Kafka, and Python. You’ll act as the first line of defense for data-related incidents , rapidly diagnose root causes, and implement resilient solutions that keep critical reporting systems up and running.

Incident Management & Triage

  • Serve as on-call escalation for data pipeline incidents, including real-time stream failures and batch job errors.
  • Rapidly analyze logs, metrics, and trace data to pinpoint failure points across AWS, Flink, Kafka, and Python layers.
  • Lead post-incident reviews: identify root causes, document findings, and drive corrective actions to closure.

Reliability & Monitoring

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust observability for data pipelines: dashboards, alerts, distributed tracing.
  • Define SLOs/SLIs for data freshness, throughput, and error rates; continuously monitor and optimize.
  • Automate capacity planning, scaling policies, and disaster-recovery drills for stream and batch environments.

Architecture & Automation

  • Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to architect scalable, fault-tolerant pipelines using AWS services (e.g., Step Functions , EMR , Lambda , Redshift ) integrated with Apache Flink and Kafka .
  • Troubleshoot & Maintain Python -based applications.
  • Harden CI/CD for data jobs: implement automated testing of data schemas, versioned Flink jobs, and migration scripts.

Performance Optimization

  • Profile and tune streaming jobs: optimize checkpoint intervals, state backends, and parallelism settings in Flink.
  • Analyze Kafka cluster health: tune broker configurations, partition strategies, and retention policies to meet SLAs.
  • Leverage Python profiling and vectorized libraries to streamline batch analytics and report generation.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Act as SME for data & reporting stack: mentor peers, lead brown-bag sessions on best practices.
  • Contribute to runbooks, design docs, and on-call playbooks detailing common failure modes and recovery steps.

**The team you'll be working with:**

**What experience you'll bring:**
+ Proven experience as a Salesforce Data Cloud Specialist, with in-depth knowledge of Data Cloud components, such as Data Streams, Unified Data Model, Transformations/Insights, Identity Resolution, Segmentation, and Activations.
+ Hands-on experience with at least two full lifecycle Salesforce Data Cloud implementations.
+ Expert-level understanding of data architecture, data flows, and data integration best practices within Salesforce Data Cloud and the broader Salesforce ecosystem.
+ Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification is required.
+ Strong experience with APIs and third-party integrations, including REST, SOAP, and other protocols.
+ Proficiency in ETL tools, data migration, and data cleansing methodologies.
+ Moderate to advanced SQL skills, with experience writing complex queries.
+ Experience integrating with cloud-based data warehouses/data lakes (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Databricks, Big Query) and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau).
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional solutions.
+ Experience with additional Salesforce products like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Marketing Personalization, Loyalty Management, and Commerce Cloud will be good to have.
+ Additional Salesforce certifications are desirable, including Marketing Cloud Consultant, Integration Architect, AI Associate, or AI Specialist.

The role:

This role is required to support the Finance function deliver objectives related to the Bank wide BCBS239 project. The role will require working with stakeholders within Finance to ensure fit-for-purpose data and controls, as we look to leverage best practice across the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Solid knowledge and expertise in the use of data governance, data quality, metadata, profiling, analysis, and data management tools.
  • Responsible for data governance implementation across the Finance domain in line with BCBS239 requirements.
  • Responsible for the data definition, lineage and governance aspects 'end to end' for prioritised Use Cases
  • Responsible for monitoring changes to business data requirements and ensuring that change and release management activities are executed for the data domains
  • Contributes to the firm's objective of meeting industry regulatory expectations with respect to the data governance program as well as establishing processes that generate accurate, complete, timely and reliable data
  • Work with stakeholders across the Division on the development and implementation of data standards and adoption requirements for EMEA Data
  • Participates in the various data governance and program forums to advance the robustness of the Bank-wide data governance framework
  • Collaborates with business, compliance, technology, and other groups to ensure that data related business requirements are clearly defined and communicated as part of initiative prioritisation and planning
  • Support the investigation of Data Quality Issues, development of remediation plans and recommendations to fix at source
  • Assist in delivering robust controls and monitoring processes for those controls and providing controls MI to senior management
  • Ability to establish consistent contact with all teams to provide updates, stay on track and report risks and issues timely with proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge and expertise in data governance, data quality, profiling and analysis
  • Has a detailed working knowledge of BCBS239 in a Tier 1 / Tier 2 bank
  • Has experience communicating with senior managers
  • Understands complicated data structures and calculations required for Finance
  • Understanding of the Finance Data Domain as well as knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise data and data related regulatory requirements
  • Ability to think in an enterprise-wide manner, rather than a siloed or business unit focused fashion
  • Analytically minded with experience in problem solving and being able to implement and deliver solutions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills to communicate and achieve buy-in from stakeholders across EMEA
