Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Defence Projects (Previously or currently Security Cleared or eligible for obtaining clearance) - London
Up to 90k Basic (Dependant on years of appropriate industry experience) + Benefits & Performance-related Bonus - City of London office/ Undisclosed site within the M25
Partnering with a brilliant multi-disciplinary consultancy - global in reach yet boutique in feel - we're seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client's London Building Services team and play a pivotal role in important and classified building projects within the Defence sector as well as selected commercial and mission critical sector projects.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, applicants must already hold a suitable level of security clearance or be eligible to obtain it. Eligibility for higher levels of clearance typically requires candidates to be British-born, with both parents also British-born, and have been a resident in the UK for the past 10 years. You will be required to join a site-based team, working on location within the M25 circle for circa 2 to 3 days a week. The standard working week is 37.5 hrs, on a flexible working basis with typically 3 days a week in the office or site location and 2 days WFH or office/site as per mutually agreed arrangement.
Your Role:
* Lead electrical design on complex, projects across multiple sector types including Mission critical, commercial and Defence sectors
* Collaborate with a talented multi-disciplinary building services teams alongside PM's Architects, QS's, Structural Engineers and specialists
* Deliver innovative, sustainable, and technically excellent solutions to exacting Defence standards.

* Proven track record as an Electrical Design Engineer in building services (6 to 10 years +), ideally working for a consultant or design orientated role with Contractor.
* Strong experience in delivering projects from concept through to completion.
* Excellent technical, organisational, and communication skills.
* Security clearance (or full eligibility to obtain it).
