+ Gathering input data
+ Engaging with various stakeholder (installation contractors, CW interfaces, other disciplines) to clarify issues.
+ Producing site request technical assessment (RFI, FCR, NCR) concerning design issues on piping, support and anchorage scopes.
+ Contributing to other teams (Layout, Transverse, etc) by providing piping assessments or general guidance as required.
+ Doing hand calculations and running anchorages macros to assess the feasibility of modifications.
+ Proposing appropriate and proportionate modifications if sizing criteria are not met.
+ Closing open points and comments.
+ Assessing and integrating modifications coming from the stakeholders after packages handed over to JDO.
+ Working with CAD designers/detailers in the preparation of the design drawings.
**Qualifications**
+ Master in Science, Mechanical Engineering degree.
+ 3 year minimum in Piping Mechanical Design, nuclear industry, or equivalent experience.
+ Knowledge of EUROCODE, ASME, RCC-M codes, and knowledge of piping sequence including detailed design, execution design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.
+ Knowledge of 2D and 3D design software: Ideally knowledge of PDMS, Navisworks, Pipe stress, RSTAB, ANSYS APDL and Workbench.

Your Role
Non-conformance Design Engineer within the Capgemini Engineering Design Engineering department
• Assessment of non-conformance via a Concession/Deviation Permit/Drawing Alteration Request (DAR)
• Issuing of a report of the Concession/Deviation Permit/DAR submission to support the disposition
• Writing of Technical Assessment Reports TARs
