Bloomberg Supply Chain is seeking for a Distribution Planner to be a part of the Global Supply Chain Planning team, who will forecast customer equipment demand, position inventory availability for EMEA and balance demand & supply requirement of Bloomberg customer equipment and materials. The Supply Chain Planner will collaborate closely with Operations in order to deliver the best service quality to Bloomberg customers.



**What will you do:**



Develop and execute supply and distribution plans for 500+ SKUs across 40+ locations in the EMEA region to meet customer and business requirements



Manage distribution schedules and coordinate transportation orders to Forward Stocking Locations (FSLs) on a daily basis



Manage regional refurbishment and repair plan communication with supply chain operations to ensure stable in house supply.



Monitor demand vs. forecast to proactively adjust and communicate supply plan execution across the region



Conduct regular reviews of actual supply performance against plan, driving corrective actions and continuous improvements



Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize regional inventory levels by reviewing safety stock, lead times, and demand/supply variability



Maintain accurate master data in planning systems to align SKU forecasts with supply plans, including new product introductions (NPI) and end-of-life (EOL) transitions



Support projects focused on system enhancements, automation, and process improvements



**You will need to have:**



3u20135 years of relevant planning experience in supply chain or distribution



Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent work experience



Proven expertise in distribution/supply planning and inventory management, strong knowledge of demand forecasting processes



Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

This is a new specialist technical director level role in combination with integrated project management and delivery to support the growth of our UK & Ireland T&D practice.

You will lead large multi-disciplinary projects involving engineers from various disciplines such as substation, cables, protection & control, civils, and overhead line while undertaking design management roles to ensure integrated design through effective communication and coordination.

AECOM and its joint venture partner have been appointed as design and consenting service partners for the UK National Grid's Great Grid Partnership. The joint venture's scope of work will include delivering the consents for individual schemes within the program. These consents will be through Development Consent Orders (DCOs), which entail technical and environmental design and preparation, as well as stakeholder engagement on the plans.

In this leadership role, you will be a key senior member of our Transmission & Distribution team dedicated to leading and engaging with our clients to deliver technically challenging multi-disciplinary projects.
This is a new specialist technical director level role in combination with integrated project management and delivery to support the growth of our UK & Ireland T&D practice.
**What will a day in this role look like?**
+ You will lead large multi-disciplinary projects involving engineers from various disciplines such as substation, cables, protection & control, civils, and overhead line while undertaking design management roles to ensure integrated design through effective communication and coordination.
+ You will have the opportunity to be involved in large programmes of work like GGP projects
+ Checking and review engineering deliverables such as complex designs, reports, proposals, presentations, and drawing packages
+ Reviewing and providing input into bids and pursuits; actively participating in business and strategic planning activities to identify opportunities to continue the growth of the business in the short, medium and longer-term
+ Provide engineering expertise from the concept to detailed design of transmission & distribution projects, including substations, power generating stations, data centres, BESS and renewables
+ Leading the delivery of projects and the development of leading-edge technical skills and their practical application, in ways that add value to AECOM and our clients

**Transmission and Distribution (T&D)**
We have a tremendously challenging programme in front of us in the run up to achieving 2030 net zero targets. New overhead lines, underground cables, substations, battery storage and subsea links are all needed - and quickly. AECOM Transmission and Distribution is currently supporting the network development which will underpin grid modernisation. Join our Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Engineering team which provides a range of services from the initial concept through High Voltage Power Systems Analysis, Cabling, Substations, Transmission and Distribution Infrastructure, System Balancing and Compensation, Protection Systems, SCADA, Communications, Converter Station Design, HVDC Systems and Interconnectors including overseas links.
**Working to modernise the UK's Energy Infrastructure**
AECOM has been recently appointed to provide design and consenting services for the UK's National Grid's Great Grid Program, in a joint venture with Arup. This £9bn initiative aims to enhance the electricity transmission network, ensuring the integration of renewable energy sources, including offshore wind farms, into the grid by 2030, which will also support future projects beyond 2030. The project focuses on upgrading infrastructure to meet future energy demands, reduce fossil fuel dependency, and support the UK's net zero emissions target.

**Qualifications**
**Ready to push the limits of what's possible?**
_Here's what we're looking for:_
+ An electrical/electronic/power engineering or similar qualification, such as an HNC, HND, BSc/BEng and/or an MSc/MEng.
+ Demonstrable electrical engineering design consultancy experience working on transmission and distribution projects.
+ Working knowledge of BS and/or Eurocodes for relevant engineering design standards.
+ Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external clients, both verbally & in writing with the confidence to engage with a variety of people (clients, colleagues, stakeholders and sub-contractors alike) and the aptitude to rationally explain, explore and discuss technical issues and capture feedback.
