Our client is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Event Planner & Operations Manager to orchestrate exceptional events for their global clientele. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to manage all aspects of event planning and execution from your home office. You will be responsible for the conceptualization, planning, budgeting, vendor management, and flawless execution of a wide range of events, from virtual conferences and webinars to large-scale hybrid and in-person gatherings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, with a strong understanding of logistics, marketing, and attendee engagement strategies. You will manage all event-related vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. You will leverage digital tools for planning, communication, and execution, ensuring seamless virtual and on-site experiences. Collaboration with internal marketing, sales, and operations teams is crucial for success. The ability to think innovatively and adapt to the evolving landscape of event management, particularly in virtual and hybrid formats, is essential. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and execute a variety of events, including virtual, hybrid, and in-person.
  • Develop event concepts, themes, and detailed execution plans.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage event vendors and suppliers.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including scheduling, AV, catering, and staffing.
  • Develop and implement attendee engagement strategies for both virtual and physical events.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, tech) to align event objectives.
  • Utilize event management software and digital platforms for planning and execution.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and provide comprehensive reports.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in event planning and management, with a portfolio showcasing diverse event types.
  • Proven ability to manage remote teams and coordinate complex logistics.
  • Strong understanding of virtual event platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent budgeting, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
