Job Description
Samsic UK is recruiting for a temporary 6 month full-time Cleaning Operative to provide a professional facilities management service based at Formula Newark
This position is to work for 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday. The starting time is 8am
You will receive *£13.26 per hour, paid 4-weekly * unless specified otherwise.
Duties include but are not limited to, cleaning of factory areas including the use of machinery. General cleaning is also required
The position will require working at heights and will include manual lifting and carrying .

About you

- Flexibility to cover other shifts for when staff take annual leave is preferable.
- Training will be provided, however, cleaning experience of at least 1 year is preferable.

We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals who are looking to take their career to the next level in a heavy engineering environment. The position on offer is a full-time, permanent role, with plenty of progression and opportunities available within a thriving company. Successful candidates will be trained on a day shift rota, before transitioning to a rotating shift pattern which includes nights.
Interviews will be scheduled for week commencing 25th August for successful applicants, with a start date pencilled for mid September.
Main duties will include:
- Input and modify programmes on computer controls and manage machinery on a line.
- Undertake various duties including fettling, painting, and shotblasting.
- Ensure customer specifications are met by checking dimensions against process sheets or sketches.
- Clean work areas and maintain equipment as required.
- Adhere to all safety and quality processes and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
Previous experience in an engineering environment is essential, and FLT licences will be beneficial; as would any experience/certification of heavy machinery operation.
The role is commutable from Newark, Lincoln, Sleaford, Horncastle, Market Rasen and Gainsborough.
