About The Founder &Co.
The Founder & Co. is a modern menswear brand crafting essential garments that embody timeless style, functional elegance, and purposeful detail. We don’t chase trends—we refine the everyday. Our mission is to help men dress with clarity, confidence, and intention through a collection that is minimalist, intelligent, and built to last.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Lead Fashion Designer who can shape the visual and functional identity of our collections. You will be responsible for designing refined menswear staples—T-shirts, polos, shirts, trousers—with a singular perfect fit and intelligent variations in fabric weight, feel, flexibility, and subtle style elements. This is not about designing for fashion weeks. It’s about mastering the art of simplicity, purpose, and premium craft.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop menswear collections that align with our occasion-based product strategy (casual, smart casual, business casual).
- Own the full design process from concept to production: moodboards, tech packs, materials, fittings, and refinements.
- Collaborate closely with sourcing and production teams to ensure fabric choice, construction details, and finishes meet our quality standards.
- Innovate within constraints—working with a fixed fit, your design impact comes from thoughtful variations in texture, finish, trims, and styling.
- Translate the brand’s philosophy into garments that serve the customer’s lifestyle—functionally and emotionally.
- Contribute to brand storytelling through design decisions that reflect purpose, not decoration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in menswear design, ideally with a focus on essentials, luxury basics, or minimalism.
- Strong technical knowledge of fabrics, fit, and garment construction.
- Proficiency in creating tech packs and communicating with manufacturers.
- A sharp eye for balance, restraint, and detail—your signature is subtlety, not statement.
- Experience working with international suppliers and managing production timelines is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and align designs with brand strategy and customer use cases.

Job Description
Love sneakers? Live for streetwear? This one's for you.
We're supporting the UK's leading sneaker platform, where millions turn for the freshest drops, news, and everything that matters in sneaker culture.
They're scaling fast, building out a brand partnerships arm that works directly with Nike, Adidas, and Puma—the heavyweights. And they need someone to make it all look as good as it deserves to.
Currently, their brand identity is inconsistent. Different vibes across Instagram, the app, and the website. No single source of truth. No unified design language. That's where you come in.
You'll be their first dedicated brand designer . Which means you get to define everything. Build the guidelines from scratch. Create the templates. Establish what this brand actually looks and feels like across every touchpoint.
But you're not just tidying up, you're creating. Pitch decks for major brand partnerships. Campaign concepts for the biggest names in streetwear. Digital experiences that actually stop people scrolling. This isn't corporate design. This is youth culture, and it needs to slap.
You've got a portfolio that proves you get it, commercial thinking wrapped in aesthetic excellence. You've worked senior-level at fashion, streetwear, or sneaker brands, and understand the design language of this world because you live in it.
You're solid across Adobe Suite, Figma, and Keynote. You can lead without a team underneath you, though that's coming. You think strategically but execute beautifully. And most importantly, you've got a genuine obsession with sneaker culture, not just a passing interest.
You'll build a brand identity from zero. Influence how millions experience this platform. Work on campaigns with the brands you actually care about.
Early finish on Fridays. Three actual Duvet Days a year. Your birthday off plus a £100 voucher. Monthly wellbeing budget. Regular trainer giveaways (obviously). 36 days holiday total. Hybrid working with two days in Shoreditch. Additionally, you can work remotely abroad for up to four weeks per year.
If you're into sneakers, this is your natural habitat: fun team, fast growth, real creative freedom. You're not just another designer in a corporate machine; you're building something that actually matters to a culture you care about.
Sound like your scene? To apply, send us your CV and current portfolio.
