We have an opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join their team of staff in the Pharmacy Department.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
*Duties of this role include:*
* Conduct medication reviews for inpatients and outpatients, identifying interactions, contraindications, and opportunities for medicines optimisation.
* Provide tailored advice to patients on their treatment plans, including side effects, compliance, and lifestyle considerations.
* Support safe prescribing through reconciliation, clinical screening, and dose adjustment.
* Review and authorise prescriptions in line with clinical guidelines, formulary restrictions, and regulatory requirements.
* Promote safe and cost-effective use of medicines by supporting adherence to local and national policies.
* Collaborate with procurement, stock control, and pharmacy technicians to ensure medicine availability and supply continuity
* Monitor and report medication incidents, near misses, and adverse drug reactions in line with hospital protocols and MHRA guidance
*Applicants should meet the following criteria:*
* A degree in pharmacy MPharm, BSc or BPharm.
* GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
* Previous experience in a clinical hospital pharmacy role.
* Strong knowledge of therapeutics, clinical guidelines, and pharmaceutical legislation.
* Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Confident using electronic prescribing and medication administration systems (e.g., EPMA).

As an Environmental Health Officer in the Food and Safety Team, you will play a key role in both our proactive and reactive work programmes. With responsibilities including conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety, food safety and food standards regulations, and working collaboratively with other knowledgeable and forward-thinking officers on a variety of innovative projects, with a unified commitment to protecting the public and supporting each other.
Our ideal candidate will have completed their Environmental Health Practitioner Portfolio and be a CIEH registered Environmental Health Practitioner. You will have previous experience in food safety, health and safety, and infectious disease control. You will hold a UK Driving Licence. To succeed in this role, you will have an approachable manner, excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise workload independently. Existing knowledge of high-risk and complex food processes is not essential but will be beneficial for the role.
