Job Title:  Primary Teacher to join Plymouth Cast Trust Bank 

Company Overview : The Supply Register are a managed service working in partnership with Plymouth Cast Trust. 

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join the trust's bank of staff, offering consistency, regular schools and better pay.

Position Overview:  As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and effective lessons across various grade levels. You will step in for absent teachers, ensuring that learning objectives are met and students receive the support they need to continue their educational journey seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students and maintain continuity of learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication during periods of teacher absence.
• Provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching in education settings is preferred but not essential.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.

• Deliver outstanding mathematics education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially A-Level.
• Develop, implement, and review the mathematics curriculum to ensure it is engaging, challenging, and aligned with national standards.
• Lead, manage, and inspire a team of mathematics teachers and support staff, providing professional development and guidance.
• Monitor student progress and attainment, implementing intervention strategies where necessary.
• Contribute to the wider school improvement plan and participate in extracurricular activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations, ensuring excellent results.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to promote interdisciplinary learning.
• Maintain high professional standards and act as a role model for students and staff.
• Engage with parents and carers to support student learning and development.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level, with a track record of successful student outcomes.
• Experience in a leadership or management role within a school setting.
• Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate both students and colleagues.
